Great experience at the Bowie location! Arrived 5 minutes after my scheduled check-in, (there was an accident on the Beltway), but 25 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment. But since I had provided everything needed online I did not need to fill anything else out. Went to the restroom, and they called my name shortly after I returned. The CAT scan itself took maybe 5 minutes, and I was actually out of there 10 minutes before my official appointment time. The staff was great, highly recommended.

Seriously disappointed in this place! Drove an hour and 30 minutes to this place for my appointment to not happen. Their protocols for a Hysterosonography ultrasound make it impossible to have the ultrasound even done. They want you to have the appointment at a certain time during your cycle but they only do the tests on Mondays and Wednesdays. That doesn’t help people who can’t make those days and when you live so far away makes it even harder. And in my case, my cycles are very irregular so making an appointment is hard. This was that case for today as I was bleeding and they would not do the test. I was also required to get a blood pregnancy test for this appointment and I got it done on a Friday afternoon, and my appointment was on a Monday. They had an attitude about that because it was more than 48 hours before the test. There are no labs open over to weekend to get a blood test within 48 hours. Again, their protocols for this test is ridiculous. My time driving all the way up to this appointment and the lab work I had to get done before this appointment was a waste of time! Absolutely disappointed!!!

Went to CMI for my 20 week anatomy scan. The tech was pleasant but unfortunately the equipment was not working properly. Due to the technical issues at CMI I feel like I did not get the full experience because I was not able to see my baby on the screen which I enjoy. We don’t get many ultrasounds during pregnancy. I’m sure CMI will bill my insurance for the full service, so I would expect their equipment to be working.

The entire visit was great. The receptionist was pleasant, friendly and informative. The Mamo Tech was GREAT!!!! She was kind, patient, friendly and totally knowledgeable of everything. I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Chesapeake Medical Imaging in Bowie! From the moment I scheduled my appointment, everything was seamless. The team made sure I had all the information I needed beforehand, which really put my mind at ease. The check-in process was quick and efficient, with the staff being incredibly friendly and professional. A special shout-out to Ashley, the tech who assisted me during the procedure. My welcome greeting could have been a tiny bit better, but people get busy. My technicians for services were both friendly, explained what was going to happen and fast. I had 2 scheduled services and was in and heading home in 25 minutes.

I had a mammogram, and I have to say it was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had at an appointment for a mammogram. The office was recognizing breast cancer awareness month. They had beautiful flower arrangements throughout the office to brighten people’s spirit, they gave me a raffle ticket for a drawing they do each Friday, and they gave out a little gift bag with a lip balm and a nail file and a couple other goodies. The technologist that did my exam was Renee, and she was excellent. I have some special requirements where my mammograms are concerned, and she made me feel completely at ease, frequently checked if I was comfortable, and made sure that the images that needed to be taken were obtained. I highly recommend Chesapeake medical imaging!
