Short wait to be taken back. Having my first mammogram was scary having built up a fear of how uncomfortable or painful it would be. The Tech was nice to answer all my questions and calm my fears. They were quick to get the US of the lump found and explain the next process and try to calm those fears. I look forward to them holding my hand through the biopsy and any other imaging needs I have in the future. Great staff. Thank you all for your hard work and kindness.

This OR team was efficient thoughtful and competent. I was truly impressed by how expertly they handled a rather new procedure It is a scary experience to have any invasive procedure but they were thoughtful and clear on what needed to be done and communicated it to me.

This location doesn't have awesome time management. I always have to wait, and this time was no exception. I was on time for my appointment and still had to wait 36 minutes. In addition, they couldn't find my doctor's order, but didn't phone me about it until 24 hours before the appointment and then they couldn't find it the day of the appointment in spite of me calling my doc to have a copy sent (it was there, just not with my info at the check in desk). Also, when the tech took me back, she didn't read the order and almost had me set up for the wrong thing. All of that being said, the tech who did the ultrasound was great as was the doc who came in to read it.

We had a great experience at Chesapeake Medical Imaging. Julia was fun and very kind and patient with my 9 year old. I appreciate that the radiologist checked the images right away to ensure they had what they needed.

In my opinion, the Annapolis facility on Defense Highway gets a perfect score. I've had many mammograms that left me feeling that I had just been processed like cattle. This is not the case at CMI. All the staff at Chesapeake are very thoughtful and caring. Each year they step up their game to make this necessary screening a personalized experience. They consistently upgrade the equipment. You can relax wearing a carefully designed mamo-jacket in a cozy well stocked lounge to chat with the Mamographer before the 3D pictures, have a consultation with the Radiologist immediately after the images are taken and given a gift bag as you leave. Under the Affordable Care Act there is very little out of pocket, if any, for this potential life saving screening. If you don't have insurance, open enrollment begins in November.
