Dr. O is the first doctor in [AGE] years thar heard me and helped me. Dr. O has exceeded my expectations. A true caring bedside manor and so knowledgeable. Thank you for giving our community such a good man. When Dr. O retires, I hope he is replaced with another quality doctor that will stay in our area. Thank you

I was referred to Dr. Knust to be seen as a new patient under her care. At my first appointment with her, I was not asked any medical hx, or any information relating to new patient establishment/transfer of care. The appointment lasted no more than 30 min of which we talked about my current issue why I was seen urgent care in the previous month. For this appointment, my visit summary has errors in my history that was taken on patient forms. Additionally, Dr. Knust ordered lab work for fasting, however she stated that I complete lab work not-fasting. Not only is this confusing, but would show inaccurate values for my blood work.

Don’t talk about it , However we do talk about how the recent firing of bariatric surgeon , and i feel this is uncalled for do not like this new set up the control of my medical insurance and medical services please return our doctors and stop pushing people to their deaths period.,.,,

I am a healthier person physically, mentally and in my soul since becoming Dr Ockenfels patient. He is excellent at diagnosing problems and identifying the best treatment options. Easy to talk to, he listens showing empathy and compassion which allows me to feel respected and valued as a person. Dr O will be a tremendous loss to the community health care system once he retires, but I wish him well for a long successful and happy retirement.

Dr Ockenfels and Nurse Connie are fantastic. Front office staff was much nicer on this visit than past visits, but its always different people. Trying to call is impossible, no one answers.

Dr. O has been the kindest, most knowledgeable doctor I have ever met. He listens, he has solutions to whatever bothers me. It is unfortunate that he is retiring in December , I will be going to Petoskey to get my health care in the future. I feel that My Michigan has been to rather unfair with their doctors and want no part in this organization. Without Dr. O, there is no reason for me to doctor in the Sault.

I would tell them that I am so grateful that we have a urologist’s office in our town. You never know when the unexpected will happen and they are top notch! I don’t know what I would do without them here other than travel a few hours for care but when you are in pain, that’s a very, very, very long ride.

Dr. Ockenfels has been my doctor for 30 years, he is the provider for 4 generations of my family & I have total faith in him as my doctor & friend. Dr. O has seen me through a lot of my health issues…..He calls me back when I need to talk to him & I am heartbroken that he’s retiring soon, he’s a gem in the rough. His nursing staff are great people & always professional & courteous. We need more doctors like him in this area. I will miss him.

It's not "would" it's "what did you" I tell everyone about Sarah. She is one of the best i have seen. She "gets it", listens and works with me. I feel so comfortable telling her anything and everything. That's what I told my daughter and best friend. My daughter now sees Sarah and my friend is going to try.
