Dr Ockenfels is kind, and compassionate. He is one of the smartest doctors I have ever known. I trust him with my life. His knowledge in the practice of medicine is top notch. It is so sad that many medical providers are leaving.

He is good very good but you can’t call and talk to anyone in the office and get an answer so that is very frustrating… You have to go to his office and talk to the office staff you don’t always have transportation to his office !! That’s so darn frustrating.. I don’t want to go downstate so what do I do..

Sarah is exceptional and always shows concern. I’ve had some serious health issues this year and she has taken care of to see that I have everything done that is necessary to have a proper diagnosis and treatment. Again, Sarah is exceptional.

This was my first visit with Dr.O. ,since Dr.T. retired, so I really don't have much to go by. He had taken care of my grandmother and she absolutely loved him. That is why I chose him. He was very respectful, helpful, and listened to my concerns. He was also a lot of fun to talk to, very down to earth. I think he's going to be the perfect match for me. Grams was right when she said that's a good man, right there.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Less staff and the attached pharmacy closing somehow gave me an ominous feeling. The doctor and nurse are still excellent. I’ll likely get used to whatever felt different. The facility lacked life.

Sara Hill and the staff were very pleasant and were attentive to my needs. They were very thorough, listened to my concerns, and made appropriate recommendations. I've always felt like they honestly cared about my well being. I highly recommend Sara Hill and her staff.

Dr Mackinac is doing a great job of managing both his and many of Dr. cutoff patients. There was one member of the reception staff that was very hard to deal with on the phone and in person. Aside from her behavior, everything was perfect.

I was with Dr. Tetzlaff my entire life. When he retired I moved to Dr. O upon recommendations. I was not disappointed and happy to have him as my primary provider!

Sara can only be labeled as a GEM. She is so on the ball and caring— she is aware of your overall health in addition to the problem of the day. I trust her and her judgment. She asks many questions and really really listens. Sara makes decisions concerning tests to be done after gathering the pertinent information needed,. My Michigan is extremely fortunate to have her in their employ, and I am extremely fortunate to have her for my primary caregiver . Her nurse Sharon does an outstanding job jas well . What a team they are !! Thank you for this space to write my thoughts on.
