Has a good understanding of prescription and over the counter meds and their interactions. Supportive in making contact as soon as possible either by phone or in person. Dr. Mackie is an incredible Provide and a genuine human being. I HATE that his is switching practices. The new nurse that assisted us (Brenda) this day was VERY nice and kid friendly. I appreciate her! The person at the front desk upon check-in (was not able to catch her name) was not friendly and should not be the first person there to greet you when you get there. She did not smile, was very short, and barely made any eye contact.

Dr.Mackie was fantastic per usual. MA was kind. Front desk staff left something to be desired. One was using her cell phone the entire check in process.

he took me on as a new patient when no longer doing so in preparation to retire. so I'd say I'm very lucky to come under his care. he has a very good staff, is a terrific person and a great quarterback.

Dr. Mackie is amazing, that is not the issue. The issue is when you call the office no one answers the phone. I waited on the line this morning just over 25 minutes until I just left a message. No one even picked up and asked if we could hold. My last appointment this was brought to the attention of the desk staff. The woman who was spoken to said that they are very busy and can't answer everything. I then asked to change the contact number from my husband's to mine. I was told "No, you are being rude and I will not do it and that'll have to wait". This is why we will be leaving this practice after over 17 years of having Dr. Mackie caring for our children. This practice has good from a great family small town feeling, to a big city low family feeling. Basically a hurry up and get the bodies through. It is just sad the family practice that I have been going to since my birth had turned into this after selling to My Michigan.

Mine has been the finest experience with the entire team Everyone is so kind, caring, efficient, and available for my needs. I’ve been most fortunate to have Dr Mackie for my physician. And his staff for other aspects of caring.

Dr Mackie and his nurse Ellie were top notch but I must say it took me several calls 4 exactly to make an appointment and two times I was on hold longer than 20 minutes and finally when I got a hold of somebody on the fourth attempt, they told me that they were the only one working in the office that afternoon
