The doctor may see many patients in situation like mine buy i felt vulnerable and didnt appreciate the Dr's approach to my health. I left very discouraged, and I don't have interest in receiving care from him again. I understand he is spoken highly of and I may be a "one-off", but Im not interested in returning

I had a wonderful visit with my physician. He listened to my concerns. Ordered some follow-up ultrasound for my carotid and bloodwork.

I’ve been with Dr Ockenfelds for many years. He is so easy to talk too and he listens to my problems. He is always so nice! I’ve already told some that he makes me feel so comfortable and can say anything.

Hes good and I just started seeing him a few months ago hes really good and belive me I have alot going on 31 stints triple bypass heart failure 3 times cancer of my lung Colin cancer right and lift hip real bad and other things hes right on top of it glad I got the chance to get him

Highly recommend, the ONLY doctor I've ever had that seemed personally invested in their patients care, it didnt seem as though he was at work when I was being cared for by him or his staff. I have never experienced this level of investment before from ANY primary care doctor before.

That John Okenfels is the best doctor in town his is caring and very understanding with our son and I have the utmost respect for him!!! He is amazing at understanding my sons condition he is non verbal autistic and still gets his medical care going right!!! He also has 2 more of my [AGE] children and he is so good to them all I give him an A+!!!!!

Dr.Ockenfels is absolutely the best. I went on vacation and forgot one of my medications. I texted Dr.Ockenfels on a Sunday and he managed to get me my needed medications. How many other doctors would do that for their patient!

My dr is really good I was worried till I talked to him a couple times I have alot going on with my health most dr dont know where to start and him and a pair I had in westbranch was the best ❤️ and if u look at my health u will know what im talking about and he is right on it all I can say is Ive worked all over the states had alot of dr and him and ashley from westbranch are good hope midmichigan don't ever lose them

The office needs to communicate with the doctor better. I have called numerous times and left messages many times trying to get answers from my doctor. Staff never return my phone calls. When I spoke to the doctor about why couldn’t he answer my questions and get back to me and why couldn’t he send my refills through for me his answer was that no one related the message back to him. Very poor communication in the office and it needs to be addressed asap in my opinion. Peoples medical needs are NOT being met when meds are not being sent in. Very disappointing

Dr. Ockenfels takes very good care of me and my husband. Unfortunately he does not take new patients at this time. But we do praise him to others of how well we are cared for.
