Terrible communication. Submitted messages in the portal and received a response 3+ weeks later or not at all. The receptionist is incredibly rude. Waited over an hour and a half to be seen.

Dr Pinney is professional and considerate, I trust him! However, on my last visit I waited close to an hour in an exam room, no one came in to explain why he was delayed in seeing me. I understand there are emergencies, however, no explanation of why I had to wait so long is unacceptable.

Dr Pinney is terrific and I trust his care and/or services. I have referred many of my friends to him. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment when you have an urgent vs routine need. It typically takes 6 - 8 weeks to get an appointment. I’ve gone elsewhere when I needed immediate care - outside of the mid-Michigan health network☹️.

Visit was fine but extremely late. My appointment was at 3:40, I got called in to the room at 3:55 and the doctor didn’t come in until 4:50… that is an unacceptable waste of my time

The female staff person that checks you in is not friendly at all. When you approach the desk, she doesn’t even say hello or smile or nothing. I have had 6-7 appointments with this doctor and I’m always treated the same by this female. I do not know her name. It is not a very welcoming feeling.

Although I had a very long wait, I did have several staff members come to check on me and provide services such as the physical therapist to give me exercises and the x-ray technician to take the x-rays that I needed and Dr. Pinney to look at my knee and ask me about the problem that I was having. He told me the course of action to help my knee and gave me an injection. All of the staff that I encountered did a good job of explaining what their job was and why it would help me. I am seeing improvements in my knee from their treatments.

Dr. G. was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly. He listened to my concerns and we developed a plan to maintain ROM for my R wrist. I would definitely recommend him if you need a non-surgical Sports Medicine Doctor.
