At this point I would tell them to ask for more time with the doctor so that my questions could be asked and answered. The doctor had an agenda and he showed me a chart that explained what he wanted to do, but did NOT explain other options.

Very courteous. Answered questions in a way I could understand. Explained meds and procedures also easy to understand. I did not feel rushed.

Lacey not only listens, she hears which is wonderful. She is very knowledgable and treats you with respect and like you are family. She is relaxed and explains everything until you understand it. I would recommend her to anyone.

I’m answering as the patient’s wife. I am sure Dr Esan is an excellent specialist. He has provided the necessary care for the device that was implanted in my husband. His people skills are definitely lacking, and perhaps aren’t essential as long as the physical needs of the patient are met. However, Dr Esan seems to forget he’s dealing with a person, not just a device. He spends a very minimum amount of time, which we’ve come to expect. What we didn’t expected was to have the probably 3 minute appointment end with, “I will see you in a year…if you are still here.”
