Dr. Mellana is a very knowledgeable and easy to talk to physian. He is friendly ,courteous, caring and listens to my concerns and explains his diagnosis and gives you all your options for treatment. In a rating of 1-10 I would give him a 20. I would highly recommend Dr Mellana to family, friends or anyone who asks.🤗👍

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
I was sent to see Dr. Mellana about having treatment for afib and to see if I was a candidate for an ablation. I was very happy to be able to get the appointment on a timely basis and he and his staff were great. Explaining and consideration for what I have been going thru made me more at ease about this situation.

He was very short with me initially and assumed I wasn't open to additional testing before asking. I was sharing past testing my primary care suggested I point out. Said I could see a different Dr if I didn't agree with plan of care even though I hadn't disagreed. Very uncomfortable first visit.

Dr M is abrupt, doesn’t listen, asks a question then doesn’t wait for me to answer. He gave me conflicting information about my condition and not sure what to do. He is not pleasant at all. He is strange to try to talk to.

Need to talk with other doctors about your care. We had to repeat ourself with each doctor. One put him on a medication then the next one took him off.

Dr Mellana is a caring, conscientious, considerate cardiologist . He examines the individual patient and determines first IF and then WHAT procedure is best for the patient.
He has expertise born from experience. He will take time reviewing each patient’s medical history and records and talks with his clients regarding what he proposes to do and accomplish with the particular procedure. Unlike many doctors I’ve encountered he has earned my trust and respect as a medical professional. I DO recommend him.
