Rustin Buffington
The Team at Mandarin Pediatrics is always friendly and responsive. I never have trouble getting my kids in for a same-day sick appointment. The staff and physicians are always respectful and take the time to ask questions, not only to the parents but also to the kids. We never feel rushed - the physicians take the time to explain any illnesses and provide any tips for managing care. We love Mandarin Peds!

Dr. Frank is truly an exceptional pediatrician. He’s incredibly thorough at every visit, taking his time to listen and explain things in a way that makes me feel informed and confident as a parent. My kids absolutely love him , he’s warm, patient and has a way of making them feel at ease every time we walk through the door.
What I appreciate most is that he’s never judgmental. Instead, he offers helpful tips, guidance, and practical tricks especially for my picky eaters, which has made a real difference at home. It’s clear he genuinely cares, and that kind of comfort and trust means everything.
I’m grateful to have Dr. Frank caring for my little ones and highly recommend him to any parent looking for a pediatrician who truly goes above and beyond.

I am so thankful to Robin & the amazing nurse who went the extra mile for my sick baby. They stayed an hour late to make sure my daughter was okay. Robin personally called the next day to follow up on us. I cannot thank this team enough for the care they have to my child and me.

The overall professionalism and kindness of each employee I have encountered. I absolutely love this office, from the front desk staff; nurse Julie; checkout staff; and my son's pediatrician, Dr Frank. My son has medical issues and Dr Frank is so gentle and understanding of his needs. I couldn't ask for a better team for my son. I have a huge age gap from my last child and had her in a small town. So having a new child in a big city 19 years later, I thought I would have issues with finding a Dr for him. I would recommend this practice to anyone having a little one.

I struggled with this office for years until Dr. Frank arrived. He is awesome. Listens to you and your child (even though mine are young). Extremely well rounded and understanding. I adore him and my children actually listens to his advice. Got my kids eating broccoli and not fighting me about their seatbelts. 😂

Dr. Rustin is great! He takes his time, answers all your questions, and never makes you feel rushed. This visit they also already had my daughter's school excuse printed and ready which was great!

Am almost always able to be seen same day for any issue, even if I need multiple kids seen. Doctors have all been wonderful and attentive. Staff is great to work with.

The staff! Dr. Virginia Black spent 30 minutes with us for our first well visit. She was incredibly attentive and thorough. Truly appreciated her time, and thoughtful conversation with my child. Haven't experienced this level of patient focus before.

We’ve had such a positive experience at Mandarin peds. Dr. Buffington is not only knowledgeable and thorough but also incredibly kind and patient with our crew. He always takes time to explain things and makes sure we never feel rushed.
The front office staff is equally wonderful—scheduling is smooth, check-ins are quick, and they’re always welcoming and professional. We especially appreciate how organized and responsive they are when it comes to follow-up questions or paperwork.
It’s clear this practice truly cares about their young patients and their families. We feel lucky to have found them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great pediatrician.
