We’ve had such a positive experience at Mandarin peds. Dr. Buffington is not only knowledgeable and thorough but also incredibly kind and patient with our crew. He always takes time to explain things and makes sure we never feel rushed.
The front office staff is equally wonderful—scheduling is smooth, check-ins are quick, and they’re always welcoming and professional. We especially appreciate how organized and responsive they are when it comes to follow-up questions or paperwork.
It’s clear this practice truly cares about their young patients and their families. We feel lucky to have found them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great pediatrician.

The staff is truly professional and we always feel like they truly take their time and listen to us. We never feel rushed or just a number. Dr. Buffington is genuine, personable and very thorough.The front office staff is great too. We made the switch to Baptist a few years ago for my twins and have never looked back. Thank you!!

Dr. Rustin is incredible. He’s kind, open and honest, and does a really good job of balancing clinical expertise with his personal experiences as a parent. I truly appreciate his insight. Any time I have asked him for recommendations or advice (I.e. stopping the pacifier) it has been successful!

The office is great. I love that there is a separate waiting room for the sick and the healthy kids. The office is always accommodating in getting my child in the office. I really like both Dr. [last name] and Dr. Buffington. I have several kids and they both are great.

The staff is very responsive to patient needs and accommodating appointments. Nurses call back patients very quickly. We usually see providers within 5 to 10 minutes of our appointment time and are very thorough in answering any and all questions. I have not had a problem with any of the providers we’ve seen. In addition, all of the nurses have been very kind, thoughtful and helpful.

Everything! From the moment we step in to the moment we leave we are very satisfied with the care. Customer service and medical staff are great to work with. Trust all advice given by the doctors. Have 2 older children (27 & 23 yoa) who were patients from the time they were born until they turned 18. Now have a 9 year old who has been a patient since he was born. I've been using your practice since 1998!
