Mr Youse is very personable and courtious, just so you know i would go back to him anytime but I do have a small issue, my appointment was at 12.45 and naturally they run late but my procedure was small and he got it all the first time, but my problem is I sat from 2,30 after he told me to leave and come back so pathology could read the sample. I came back at 2.30 and was still waiting at 4.30 noticing people that had come in after me was done and leaving, no one told me anything till 4.30 that it would be 5 minutes and they would come and get me and 30 minutes went by and she finally called me back. I left the office at 5.30 for a simple procedure. like I said I would have him do my removal again if need be but I just can't understand why I was I guess lost in the paperwork, guess it wouldn't of been so bad if they or someone would of let me know why it was taking so long, or why everyone was going before me. I was probably close to the last patient to leave and I had a 12.45 appointment. the vital skin staff at mattoon are great staff, just don't understand what took so long, an explanation would of been appreciated.

The whole event was two separate MOHS surgery, and both turned out better than expected. The injections for numbing was the worst, as well as the waiting, which neither MD or staff was the problem, but the procedure to follow. I was completely at ease through the whole process, but did not enjoy it as much as I had wished for. The smell of the burning was awful. The healing process was painful, but I am glad I did it with this doctor. Make it easier by telling people ahead, we will give you multiple shots, and the wait will be enormous if we keep finding more cancer. The stitches won't bother you, but they will come lose, and some bleeding likely. I bled on my pillow and sheets. The staff is great but the whole process will get on your nerves, and it is not a piece of cake. The doctor was very comforting through the event. 10 starts for him.

Dr Youse and his staff did a great job. This was the second Moh's surgery he has performed on me and I am healing nicely. This surgery was on my face and I was worried about an unsightly scar. He and his staff stitched me up nicely and I can hardly tell I had the incision.
