David Hall, MD, FACS
Dr. Hall and his staff are great. When my Lung CT was suspicious, I asked to be referred to MD Anderson and I could not be happier with the care I have received. The word cancer is scary and Dr. Hall explained my test results and the options to confirm whether or not I have lung cancer. He explained everything in a way that I could understand and answered all my questions. Going forward, I am very thankful to have Dr. Hall helping me navigate my journey.

It’s hard to describe how wonderful my experience was with the thoracic surgical team.
Dr [last name] was very patient with my questions. He has an amazingly soothing bed side manner.
He instilled confidence in me for his skills and ability. Plus he has a great sense of humor!
I have to have another surgery that I will only let Dr [last name] perform.
His team is equally wonderful! His APRN, Julie Weller was equally as terrific as Dr [last name]! She stayed by me when I had surgery. She explained what was going to happen and when! It let me relax. Not only Julie Weller and Dr [last name] but the entire team was so wonderful! Everyone made me feel at ease and confident in the procedure they were going to perform. I asked many questions and they were so patient with me and answered each one.
I had to stay over night and I had a great nurse, Chuck. I am don’t remember his last name but he treated me like I was his brother. Thank you Chuck!
What a great experience and terrific team!

I didn't have to wait a long time before being call to the back by the nurse and seeing the doctor.

They didn’t actually have to see me as the problem I’m having is not something they handle, but because I was a patient there years ago they kindly allowed me to come in.
She genuinely listened and offered several suggestions for my problem. She was very proactive and promptly sent me for a CT scan. She identified an important issue on the scan that would have become a severe problem had it not been identified when it was.

My doctor had my complete medical history (including scans) ahead of time and had looked over them. He was familiar with my pulmonologists. He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He went over all of my scans thoroughly with me. He sent a letter to my pulmonologists and primary care physician after my visit. He explained his plan for my care in an easy to understand way. I have never had a better experience anywhere!

I saw Matthew Hagner for a follow-up visit. He was friendly, yet professional. He was thoroughly familiar with my history and took time to explain the results of a recent CT scan, answering any questions in a no-rush atmosphere.
