Doctors, nurses, and all staff are very professional and well informed with high level of expertise, while at the same time warm and compassionate. Give a quick response to all issues. They take the patient's cancer case very seriously, showing studious knowledge in their prognosis and diagnosis, and what this means on a personal level to the patient and family. They fully embrace you from the time you arrive, during test and results and surgery and treatment. They hear you and inform you. They work to treat you, cure you, and give you your life back. My family and I are immensely grateful.

The level of caring, preparation and aftercare during my lung cancer surgery was exemplary. The day after my surgery, my entire surgical team came to see me. My nurse navigators were available every step of the way to address any concerns. MD Anderson takes a team approach that ensures patients are well taken care of. I was prepared beforehand so that my expectations during recovery were met. Having cancer is scary; having a team that makes sure every aspect of your care, from questions, comfort, pain management, to rehab are addressed. Highly recommend.

Always take me at appointed time. Visit with Dr or PA always very informative and always answers any questions I may have. Scheduling is made so easy for testing, etc. Highly recommend MD Anderson Thoracic Center
