Every step of the way on my first visit was met with a smile and by a staff member who wanted to get me to the correct area and wanted to know what they could help with, wether paperwork or to get to the physician. Bright, cheery set up, Dr. Werba explained the program, concerns and plan and answered questions without fail. As my history has been with most every Baptist related visit in last two plus years it was a relief to be greeted, seen and cared for by such a professional staff. I was nervous and they calmed my concerns and made the visit pleasant.

Baptist MDAnderson personnel: everyone encountered is courteous. My provider explained my status and what comes next. I’m impressed with the care every time I’m in the building.

The atmosphere of the whole place and everyone that I came in contact with was excellent. I was very nervous and afraid, but by the end of my visit I was calm and relaxed. I called my brother he said my voice sounded happy. The Dr explained everything in a way that a lay person could understand. He didn't rush in and rush out, over all I would recommend you to everyone.

From moment I walked into lobby until I left everyone was polite and professional. I felt cared for, genuinely. Specifically Dr C & his team listened to me, asked insightful questions so I was totally satisfied with this referral and what will be the surgery on my arm later this month. The entire process is timely, professional, and caring. You are always welcomed by each team member with honest inquiries as to how your feeling that day and any changes since your last visit. You get constant eye contact - they're not asking to just check a box. The test results are explained in a step by step manner answering any questions without feeling rushed. All questions are important questions here even if they might seem trivial or unrelated to others. The "where do we go from here' step is done in a way that the patient feels that the issues are being considered from all angles and the path moving forward is the best one. MDA puts their patients and their family first.

The staff on 5th floor is truly amazing for surgical oncology. From the check in desk to the actual appointment I can say that even Mayo doesn’t do all that they did. Friendly and make you feel at home.
