First of all, my treatment was obviously successful, I am writing a review. After having dealt with my father with prostatic cancer. Then my mother in law with breast cancer followed by my wife with rectal cancer. I had lived three of the same nightmares. One bad outcome and two successful. However, while taking the rollercoaster ride of success followed by failure followed by hope. The over riding frustration of no body seeming communicating with anyone else from radiation oncologist, to medical oncologist to surgeons to support staff. I chose M.D.Anderson for the simple fact that you see everyone in one location and you are discussed by all the different but related specialists on a weekly basis. Whatever your concern is with one area is shared with everyone so that they can mesh seamlessly with everyone else to give you the best outcome possible and to help smooth out the horrible rollercoaster of emotional and physical anguish that you and your family will be experiencing. I cannot say enough good things about the care that i have been given. Thanks.

Everyone I was in contact with for my surgery was amazing! I don’t have anything negative to say! It was great! I will drive the hour from my home to use Baptist, MD Anderson again before I go to my local advent hospital! Thank you for making this a good experience!

I got to see the doctor after a short wait. He gave me a thorough exam and asked me if I had any problems or symptoms concerning my cancer. He was totally professional and patient with me and told me that five years had passed and I was considered cured.
