Dr. Mayland and her team were the best I could ever have hoped for. Brilliant, friendly, pragmatic, comprehensive descriptions of options/procedures - I can't say enough positive things about them. It was a long and scary diagnosis and resolution but they were supportive and professional all the way. Erica Mayland is a Goddess.

Dr Smith was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He took time to explain everything concerning my condition and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. This was my first visit to MD Anderson. The facility is very nice and has a calming atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful.

The staff is wonderful! I live that they prioritize you time and care. The doctor listened to my concerns, examined me, and explained my options as well as the risks involved and next steps depending on my decision. It was one of the quickest, most informative visits I've ever had.

I was early for my appointment. I believe I was in the exam chair less than 20 minutes. I was also informed about my sinus porblem from my head scan, that is not related to my cancer. I have known about my sinus since the 1970's. The recommendation was a consult to an ENT Specialist. I chose to see the specialist. I was also told about the lab order and I was able to have that sone before I left the building, which saved me a return trip.
