The doctors, nurses, care team and receptionists are the best! I can’t imagine having my cancer care anywhere else. MD Anderson in my opinion is the best in the world. I would highly recommend MD Anderson to anyone going through cancer.

The whole experience was wonderful. The welcome and meeting the Patient Financial Advocate, Sondra [last name] was assuring that my questions would be answered promptly and correctly. The care team was very knowledgeable and supportive. Dr Mayland was very nice, professional and made me feel that she cared about me. She offered me options and supported my decision for future care. Andrew PA, was caring and checked to see if i was fine and answered all of my questions. This is a much different experience than i have had at other local hospitals. As I was leaving my hands were full and the young lady who checked me out came around her work station, went to and opened the door for me .Very nice.

Due to an accident on the I-10 causing my 45 minute drive to turn into 2 hours. I sent a message in the portal and I was told they would check me in and I would be seen when I arrived. It made a difficult morning very bearable. Thank your staff for their kindness.

I was so happy and impressed with everyone I came in contact with at my first visit to Baptist/MD Anderson. Being diagnosed with cancer, and this is not my first time , is a very stressful situation and full of anxiety. The entire process of meeting with everyone prior to seeing my Dr, Dr. Erica Mayland went so smooth, and on time ! My son and my daughter-in-law came with me and my daughter-in-law is a nurse and they were so impressed with everyone there that we met with! I absolutely loved Dr Mayland! I felt so comfortable with her as she explained everything with my particular situation and answered all my questions. She took her time and I felt very comfortable, putting my cancer diagnosis in her hands. I would highly recommend Baptist Hospital/MD Anderson to anyone, anywhere, that is facing a cancer diagnosis!

After waiting for a few days for an appointment I found Dr. Maryland and her staff (RN Iva) were so caring and professional that I felt they understood how painful my situation was and had been for many weeks…she got more testing arranged and hopefully soon I will have some relief.
