She ordered xrays before she even met me or had looked at my knees. After xrays were finished she came in did strength exam from chair. Dr Adelani didn't even ask me to get an EXAM table. She seemed very rushed. I would think a full visual look at all these scars from my 5 previous surgeries could have information pertinent to my condition as for what they did BEFORE the replacement. Pushing on lateral sides of both knees were done. She did ask surgeons name who did replacement didn't understand relevancy of that since he retired 11 years ago. When she looked at xrays showed me one with arthritis. I asked to see others and when I asked a question about something she actually said "I know what I'm looking at". I believe that comment to be condescending. I caught the mistake of mislabeled xray of rt vs left on one of xrays probably because she was in a hurry and I'm the one who has titanium rods in her leg. I've had many knee assessments done never with this speed or quick conclusions of merely arthritis.,especially since I'm almost 6 ft tall and need my legs on exam table with full extensions done not in a chair.
I'm disappointed with my experience. Hopefully the pt she prescribed will be more rewarding.

Dr Kamien is a treasure. He represents the best in patient oriented care. He is highly competent in his professional skills and communication. He demonstrates humility and humor, while making very serious decisions with his patient that will impact healing and future function at prior level. Please do all you can to keep him. Having done Home Health PT in my rural area and educated Neuro Rehab prior to retirement, I am asked frequently about recommendations. I have already highly recommended him to several others.
