Same answer. Dr Cohn asked and answered questions to be sure we were communicating. He didn't dismissed me or talked down to me. He didn't hold anything back either, but rather gave it to me straight with respect in a language I could understand.

Dr. Cohn seems like a knowledgeable and well-qualified doctor, and while I'm not looking forward to physical therapy, I believe he chose the best course of action for my condition. It's probably not what I would have chosen, but then again, I'm not a doctor. I suspect he's right.

I love St. Louis University Hospital and the fact that so many of the doctors are professors with the most up to date information and facilities to practice their healing arts. Dr.Cohn is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spine surgeries. He is very articulate in conveying the course of action needed in his medical treatment plans. He is very kind, caring, empathetic, and engaging while helping his patients chart out the best surgical and non surgical routes of treatment. Dr. Cohn, his treatment team treat, and staff made my previous hospital stay tranquil and calm. The after care plan was detailed with names and numbers should problems arise. The follow up visits were up-lifting and every concern addressed, thoroughly. Thank You!

This was an incredibly positive experience, maybe the best I've ever had with a healthcare professional. Both Dr. Cohn and the medical resident were empathetic, listened to me, took the time needed to confirm my concerns (and explained the results of my MRI both visually and in language I could understand). They explained my treatment options and worked with me to create a plan that would meet my goals, taking into account my other health challenges. I really can't recommend them highly enough!!!

Dr. Cohn was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about my condition. He gave me several options to improve my neck issues and truthful about not being a surgical candidate. He listened to my concerns and explained my condition and what would possibly relieve my pain.
