Competent and very professional I would highly recommend her to anyone. She explained procedures that I required from beginning to the end. She works with an outstanding staff.
Dr. Crane was very thorough and explained things in a manner that was easy to understand. She took her time and made sure all my questions were answered.
Dr. Vakharia is amazing. She helped me out a lot these past 2 years. I went to her 2 years ago with a really bad detached retina and with her help, I was able to get some vision back in my eye. She is very caring and compassionate. My unfortunate incident, brought me to her and she has been amazing and I am grateful for her help and recommendation for a cataract surgeon as well. Between the both of them, they helped me out. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Vakharia for any of your retina concerns and issues. Also, her office staff is amazing as well. Always polite and welcoming. No matter office I visit.
Dr. Crane goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. She always answers any questions you have quickly and so you can understand. The nursing staff is awesome as well!
Dr. Cohen saved my eyesight after another "Dr.", botched a cataract surgery on my right eye. I've been treating with him for years. He's a wonderful Doctor/Surgeon! His whole staff are always professional, friendly and kind.
1106-24: I accidentally ran into a 24 x 24 red brick fence post on July 20, 2024 and hit my forehead and bridge of my nose. The accident dislodged the cataract lens that had been placed in my right eye about six years ago by Dr. Levitt, and I didn't notice the severity of the injury until the eye became blurry over the next 10 days. I was referred by Dr. Levitt to Dr. Cohen for eye surgery to remove the dislodged lens (which could not be reset) and to surgically implant a new lens in its place by "sewing" the new lens in place. This was done on 0821-24 under general anesthesia in a 2 hour operation in HCA Northside Hospital in St. Pete by Dr. Cohen. As of 1106-24, the right eye has returned to fairly good partial vision and is well on its way to returning to "like new" in another few months. Every interaction with Dr. Cohen from initial consultation to the present ongoing follow up (1032-24) has been extremely thorough, caring and detailed. I am 86 years old and have been banged around in all manner in my life but nothing has compared to the need to perform the complex surgery on my eye as Dr. Cohen did. Jesus could restore sight, but so can Dr. Cohen.
