I recently had cataract surgery and was left with no vision in my right eye. I was given a mild anesthesia and could hear the Dr. talking and he got upset and started yelling at nurses to get instruments. I knew something had gone wrong & was sure he would talk to me but he walked out of the OR and I left with no vision & I didn't know why. I had appt. the next morning & he acted as if nothing had happened until I ask him what had gone wrong in the OR & why was I blind. He then sat down and said the lens fell in back of my eye. Dr. Conen, with whom I have been treating for 8+ yrs., saw me the same day, was concerned about the pressure build up, gave me medication to bring it down & scheduled surgery. I was aware of what was going on during surgery. I could see the little instruments he was carefully & expertly using to cleanup the mess the other Dr. left in my eye. I now have vision but it's still healing. Dr. Cohen literally saved my vision! Dr. Cohen is not only an Excellent, intelligent, beyond well educated, Physician, but a kind, caring person. There's not enough room here for me to explain. You won't find a better physician than Dr. Cohen!

Vision in my left eye was severely impaired due to a sudden PVD. Dr Cohen performed my floater only vitrectomy at the Bardmoor Surgery Center and the result was fantastic. It is like having a new eye, my vision is almost perfect ! He was great at explaining everything prior to the procedure and agreed to do the work with local sedation only which worked out great as it was quick and nearly pain free. Post surgery visits were efficient and his office staff is great. I will not hesitate to have him operate on the right eye in the future if I end up having the same issue with that one. Nobody wants to have eye surgery if they can avoid it, but it is great knowing you have a someone you can trust completely like Dr Cohen.

I am a retired RN and worked as a care manager for many years. All I can say is that Dr. Cohen and staff are absolutely wonderful! Their professionalism,knowledge and kindness are impeccable. I was comforted by all especially with the diagnosis. They make you feel welcome never rushed and explain clearly all procedures being done. I always say when the staff is good , it’s a direct reflection of how good the doctor is. Great communication between all . Thank you all for being there for me when I truly needed everything you had to offer, impeccable care. Bravo to all especially to Dr Cohen!!! You are truly the best!!!!

Mom is 92 years young and Dr Steven Cohen's patient. This was here first visit with Dr Cohen so Mom, my wife and I were a bit nervous... Mom said it was the best eye injection she has EVER received and she has been suffering from injections for several years now. The type of injection she received was also new but seems to be agreeing with her better than the last type. We are all very Happy! We greatly appreciate Dr Cohen for his knowledge, his know how and his KINDNESS!!! His staff are also kind and caring!!! We worried for nothing and we now know we can relax for the next visit thanks to Dr Cohen!!!

Dr. Cohen has been my retinal specialist since I moved to Florida in 2019. I require eye injections for macular degeneration and his treatments have kept my eye from getting worse. I have been going for injections every 3 months and at the last visit Dr. Cohen changed my medicine which resulted in an improvement in my eye health which is allowing me to extend my time between appointments to four months. Due to his knowledge of new medications, I feel secure in the fact that my eyesight is not degenerating. He is also one of the kindest physicians I have had the pleasure of seeing.

Dr Cohen knows what he’s doing and does it very well. You can tell he loves what he does. Dr. Cohen cares about his patients and is easy to talk to. I’m amazed at the number of people who were losing their eyesight because of retina issues that now can see better than ever before. He’s truly amazing! God has blessed Dr Cohen with an incredible gift. My eye has gone from 20/300 to 20/20. I don’t care where I am in the world, if I ever have another retina problem, I’m going to see Dr. Cohen. Dr Cohen is absolutely superb - thorough, explains everything about my eyes, his designed sponge numbing treatment is the best I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend him for macular degeneration. His staff is excellent too.
