The staff is very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Byrnes is wonderful! Getting a shot in one's eye sounds awful, but he does it in a way that is completely painless. I actually look forward to going in for my treatment.

Dr. Levinson is an exceptional surgeon. It’s been two weeks since my surgery, and my eyesight in my right eye has almost completely recovered. Apparently, he’s one of the top surgeons at RWG. My surgery took an hour and a half, and since I was aware of my surroundings during the eye surgery, I was able to hear what was happening around me. I could tell he was in complete control of his craft.

Getting a needle in your eye is not fun. At all. Dr. Katira is truly the kindest, most empathetic doctor. She has worked with me to give me maximum numbing drops (now a gel, which works so much better for me), updates me in language I can understand on progress, and even switched meds when she thought it was not progressing as it should. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Katira. If you have to go through something as awful as this, you want her as your doctor!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kasi since I had my first detached retina many years ago (on an emergency basis late on a Friday afternoon). It’s been great since then, and when my other retina decided to detach a few years later, Dr. Kasi took care of that one as well. On top of that he has a great “bedside” manner and is always willing to answer questions and explain what may or may not be clear at first. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would gladly do so!
