Seems to be comment and up on the latest trends on medical issues Dr VanderVeen’s direct staff (Melinda and Shawna) are excellent to deal with. However, I had to deal with Jennifer at the clinic on a Monday, which is Dr VanDerVeen off day along with his staff. I’ve never been treated like I didn’t matter at a medical office as much as I did by this person. She was borderline rude,and Curt towards me. She came across as a very uncaring individual. When I saw them, I mentioned something to both Dr VanDerVeen and his nurse assistant Shawna, and pretty much learned that I was not the only person that was complaining about her as apparently this person has been this way for years. I find it amazing that someone can keep their job by treating patients this way for so long. I felt like I really wasn’t wanted in the office and that I was wasting her time.. If she doesn’t like her job or doesn’t like dealing with patients, then why is she working there? She seems incredibly unprofessional

The staff are all kind and compassionate and always in a positive mood. Sarah is amazing and takes her time during the appointment. She always makes me feel as though I am the only patient she will see that day she’s amazing! Truly kind and supportive and compassionate.

Excellent! Both the nurse and Jacques were very thorough, professional, empathetic, listened for understanding, and provided answers to all my questions. Very knowledgeable and caring! I highly recommend them.

Sarah is very respectful and knowledgeable. Never makes you wait long. Front desk very organized and timely. I love Sarah's nurse assistant Alina. She is kind and gets things done everytime.

The staff has always been respectful, except for one receptionist. It's not Maria. The [ ] one seemed rude, and inpatient when I wasn't understanding how the scheduling is done with the CT scan. She was short with me and I felt very uncomfortable with how I felt when she was speaking to me, as if I was uneducated. Other than that receptionist, everyone has been professional and compassionate.

Sarah Woods and staff are very professional, courteous and listen to your concerns. They are prompt in addressing any issues that arise, such as needing a refill for prescriptions called in to your pharmacy.

I believe she was thorough in explaining the reason for the “ Well” visit. She did say blood work was all OK, which was ordered by another provider. I FORGOT to ask for a copy of that blood draw I believe was [MONTH, YEAR]. I was NOT using My ChRt at that time, and would like a copy of that draw which was drawn from Tawas Hospital.
