I really like Dr Quilico. What I Like best about him is that he takes time to listen to you. He doesn’t blow you off like you are stupid. He always ask if there is anything else that you need to Talk about.

I feel Dr. Quilico is professional and cares about his patients. He remains business like but does not stand aloof. He answers questions and does not try to sway with personal feelings. When asked for his opinion he does give it. I hope he continues to work at the Tawas Internal Medicine office.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
The front office will seem disconnected from making your visit easy and smooth. The nursing staff does an excellent job. Dr. Quilico is always attentive and interested in what you have to say. My big question is how can you have an annual physical without even taking your clothes off or getting an EKG. This seems very odd for an annual physical with an internal medicine physician.

Dr Quilico is an excellent doctor. Because he listens he was able to order an ultrasound that discovered the DVT in my rt. Leg. The orthopedic surgeon treated my knee and nothing helped.

Dr. Q barely looked at me, didn’t introduce himself, didn’t seem interested in me at all. As it was my first time I felt unwelcome.

It was awful. I waited months to see him as my new PCP and was thoroughly disappointed by the treatment I received. He gave me a dirty look as he entered the room, when I let him know I had questions to ask and he sharply snapped at me and told me he didn’t have an hour for new appointments anymore. Nearly the entire appointment he had his back facing me. It was an uncomfortable experience and I will not be returning. At the end of the appointment he mentioned that he didn’t like it when his staff didn’t put his clients in the rooms in a timely manner. I personally thought that comment could have been saved for a staff meeting. He clearly has a terrible bedside manner.

What would you tell family and friends about your experience with this provider?
Dr. Quilico is not very happy with his career. He does not care for treating patients and his bedside manner is in line with that. He expressed that he does not enjoy patient care and would rather be in Cardiology. He appears to be very dissatisfied with his position and career choice. He is intelligent; however, without the desire to see patients, he would be much better off in a surgical or position where he does not have to be bothered by patient care. Thank you for allowing me to share.

Dr Quilico has always listened to my issues and provided answers. No problem with Dr Quilico however his receptionists need to be upgraded on customer skills. They can be rude and unfriendly. They are not efficient. Too many errors and lack of knowledge.
