I scheduled this appointment after having an MRI. THE NURSE, Heather, was very nice and sincere. The PA showed me my MRI and suggested surgery. The Dr entered the room for about 2 minutes and did not answer any of my concerns. None. And this is exactly what I tell people.

Very disappointed, for an initial consult he stood by the door like I was a bother, he never did an assessment and spent about 7 mins with me. He asked about my symptoms then made me feel like a liar. I got no suggestions for relief while I wait up to 6 weeks to see if an injection may help and that wasnt explained to me in how that will help.

Dr. Schmidt and his staff go above and beyond when caring for patients. He took time to listen to us and explained everything in a thorough and understandable way. The receptionist actually rode down in the elevator with us and showed us directions to another appointment. Every single one of them is kind, cari g and competent. Would highly recommend this physician to anyone.

When arriving at my appointment , the receptionist always has all the answers and treated me with respect . I believe she’s a real professional. All staff was great !

Dr Schmitt saved me from going under the knife with a level 5 fusion. I am so happy I went to him for a second opinion. As of right now my neck is stable and with pain management I am doing great.

My chart has a neuro physical assessment complete. Unsure how, when the only time the doctor came near me was to shake my hand for the two appts i had. I never had any assessment done. Apparently he can tell a persons grips, sensation, flexion, hoffman sign, babinski sign and capillary refill by just looking at them.

He was kind and sent me to the pain clinic so I could get relief from my pain and said if that doesn’t work I should lose weight and that will help. He didn’t think I needed surgery at this time.

Still waiting for office visit notes to be posted to my chart. For me & my Primary Dr, Dr. Katz to read. Had to call the office and ask them if they forgot to give me a follow-up appointment. Got a call a day later to set up appt. So to my family & friends follow up is lacking.

Dr. SCHNITT IS VERY SUCCINCT IN HIS EVALUATION OF MY SPECIFIC HEALTH CONCERNS. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE BEEN INFORMED ABOUT THE SIGNIFICANT STATUS OF MY NECK. HE INFORMED ME THAT HE HAS SEEN ONLY ONE OTHER PATIENT WITH A CONDITION SUCH AS MINE. DR. SCHMITT BROUGHT FORTH AMAZING CLARIFICATION IN OUR MEETING.

Dr. Schmidt took a lot of time to review my case even before my 1st appointment. He gave me all the time I needed to get all my questions answered. This type of treatment is very rare these days. Dr. Schmidt exceeded my expectations.

The doctor was in the room with me about 5 minutes, he walked in, shook my hand and told me nothing was wrong at all. He showed me a x-ray or MRI, not sure which because he didn't say and I wasn't even sure when this test was. He said it looked fine .. he never even examined me or asked a single question. He simply said, my pain is like a headache and may never know what causes it. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. What kind of doctor doesn't even examine you or ask a question to try and get you help? Poor.....VERY POOR!!!
