The wait time on appts. is very long and always has been. appt at 11:30 and dont get into office until 12:30. I arrive 30 minutes before so my wait time in total is 1.5 hours. I understand that things come up but it has been like this for years.

It takes too much time waiting to get to see the doctor. A woman in the waiting room complained about waiting an hour to be called into an examination room. There were people who arrived after me who were called before me. I have been seeing a doctor at an Urgent Care facility because I am seen more quickly than I???m seen at Baptist Primary.

The staff are very efficient and welcoming even when they are rushed. At my most recent appointment, I just had to have my blood pressure checked in order to have Dr. Carlos authorize a new amlodipine prescription. He also confirmed I am still in atrial fibrillation when he checked my heart. I have been a patient of Dr. Carlos for a few decades, and he still has that wonderful, warm bedside manner. He listens very carefully to what I say, and I never feel rushed. He has a way of making you feel very good about yourself. I have always trusted his advice because he is so knowledgeable and dedicated. When I call into the office about an issue, a staff member takes detailed notes to relay to Dr. Carlos or to his wonderful and dedicated nurse Maureen. Overall, I would highly recommend Baptist Primary Care Mandarin North.
