Doctor was very personable, gave a very detailed explanation for my issue. This was not the usual quick in quick out appt you see with a lot of specialty doctors. I do appreciate the time the doctor took with me.

When you come face to face with excellence, you are pleased to write about your experience and share your feedback. Dr. [last name] and Dr. Sauvageau are a very rare breed. They boith have set the bar so high - I doubt one could find more excellent physicians. Filled wiith - not only professional excellence, but with authentic compassion, listening skills and knowledge that 'tips the bar' way over the excellence meter. They allowed me to "breathe again' as I was explaining my condition and they were both presenting clear, calm (and compassionate) options for me. In this time of rare chaos in the world, they brought the discussion down to a personal level and 'everything stopped' as they gave me time to talk and to LISTEN to their sage advice. Once again, how do I say "MAHALO" (thank yoiu) for redefining the world of medicine so it becomes personal and understandable as they remove 'the fear' and clearly explain the options.

My surgery went just as Dr. [last name] said it would go. I was do impressed all the care I received. I was very surprised that the anesthesiologist and the nurse anesthetist and the two nurses that were going to be in the OR all came to visit me in the room I was in before the surgery. They explained how I had been to lay, and they asked about the tape because of some allergies. The care after the surgery was equally as good. If I needed something.they were right there. My ice was always full and they brought everything to wash up. Dr. [last name] and his PA Jeremy were simple amazing. Dr. [last name] told everything to expect and he did it perfectly. Jeremy was there to answer any questions. He helped me worry less about my ileostomy and issues with the pain meds. I left feeling 100% satisfied from start to finish. My Dr.,PA, nurses and Baptist Hospital are all the very best of the best. Thank you all !!

From respectionists to PAs, all were frieand professional. They asked if I could be more comfortable and was viligant concerning my needs before and after surgery. Hospital was clean and modern with access to waiting and receiving areas easy and assessable.
Overall, a good experience for a day that was a possible stressful event.

The surgery went so amazingly smooth and I felt so great afterwards with my back pain gone. Also my sutures look plastic surgery grade and it looks like I’m barely going to have a scar.
