Jessica A. Wieser, O.D.

Dr. Wieser always takes the time to explain what’s going on with my eyes and answers my questions. This was my third appointment with her and she is carefully watching for progression in cataracts or new issues. I will continue seeing them on a yearly basis.

Your office staff was very polite, I was checked in for a first visit with minimal hassle. The women who took my history and measured my vision, Karen (I think), answered all my questions and also appeared to be very efficient with her work. I also enjoyed our talk, I thought you were good at active listening and I appreciated the advice you offered regarding suggestions to clean my eyes. Thank you for your time yesterday.

My whole experience was great from the front desk to the testing and Drs visit the only complaint that I have was the $60. fee for the prescription for glasses I think that is absolutely ridiculous

Experience was really good overall. A little lengthy but that was fine because I hate being rushed through eye appointments. It takes a minute to decide which option is more clear! Dr Wieser is very thorough, very knowledgeable, and has a very intuitive ‘bed side manner’.

I found that the whole organization to be completely professional. I had cataract surgery on my right eye and left eye. The surgeon who handled my initial surgery review was very informative and ensured that my wife and I completely understood his answers to our questions. This was true of of our multiple interactions with Dr. Wieser and Dr. Stotlmeyer. The technicians at all times were professional and courteous. The Aberdeen Surgery Center staff clearly were at the top of their game on both of my visits. The women checking in and checking out patients in Chestertown impressed my wife and I in the way she handle an elderly man who arrived 3 hours early for his appointment. He was confused and the women took him aside and with great empathy rearranged his appointment schedule. She printed out the schedule and circled the time of his new appointment. We would be comfortable recommending this group to our friends.
