I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer late last year. The diagnosis seemed very scary at the time, but after being integrated into the MD Anderson Cancer center family of physicians, technicians, nurses etc. my fears took a backseat to the excellent care I received. Everyone made you feel as though you were the first and only person to have ever had this happen to them. They were patient, kind and willing to go to any lengths to make sure I was making an informed decision on how to go forward. To be sure my cancer was cancer with a very small c so I was very lucky in that regard. I know that should I wake up some day and it be a much more serious situation this is the place I want to be. Thanks to all!

I love Md Anderson and especially my breast cancer oncologist Dr Avila-Lima who is the most gentle, kinds and truly empathetic doctor I have had for my cancer treatment. She listens to every complaint seriously and seeks ways to resolve my fears. She never rushes me and makes sure that each of my complaints or worries are taken care of before I leave. She allows me the freedom to
choose whether I have certain treatments without
Judgment. She is a wonderful doctor and makes me feel truly cared for. I also love how tests can be done promptly before leaving the facility which really helps with my anxiety as there is no waiting weeks for results. Everything at MD Anderson is professional and everyone I have contact with are
kind and courteous. The facility is well maintained and everything is so clean. God has blessed me to be part of this highly esteemed medical center.

This not your ordinary stuffy medical center. Everyone really likes their job and seem to enjoy other employees. Good to hear laughter and makes everyone relax. The staff/teammates are very knowledgeable and are glad to give 100% of their knowledge to help other patients. I'm just having a rough time keeping up with all the phone calls and emails. Everything needs to be done in a organized and timely manner.
