As a new patient and still feeling overwhelmed, I must say that I am so impressed with my team of professionals, which most recently my husband and I met with Dr Gharia and his staff. Dr Gharia had familiarized himself with my history and answered all my questions before I could ask them. I feel quite comfortable in the care of him and his staff.

I like my chart and the team has been working with my pto time constraints which have been a challenge since I am a new employee with my employer. I pray when surgery is needed they will work with me there too as I don’t qualify for fmla or std yet! This will be huge!!

All the people involved were efficient and very thorough with binders with the written instructions, which makes it real easy because there is a lot to remember and it makes it easy to follow instructions. I have to add: the parking is great.

Dr Gharia listened to me and let me participate in decisions about my treatment plan. His assistant B [last name] was always available for any questions. The infusion nurses, especially Jasmine, were very kind. They showed empathy and understanding. My surgeon and her team did an excellent job. There is plenty of follow up for any later concerns. Mandy in the blood lab was helpful and explained every step of my blood work. MD Anderson is an excellent facility with a skillful medical team and friendly receptionists. Too many to mention, Gisette [last name] helped with paperwork & Nurse Peggy.

Everything from the checkout service to the doctor everyone here is very nice and awesome. Everyone welcomes as soon as you walk through the doors, even if you’re not coming to their clinic, they still seems to be happy you’re here.

Everyone I communicated with at the facility was friendly, helpful and did everything possible to answer every question and offered information I didn't think to ask. I definitely would tell my family and friends to use MD Anderson for their health needs.
