Dr Gharia listened to me and let me participate in decisions about my treatment plan. His assistant B [last name] was always available for any questions. The infusion nurses, especially Jasmine, were very kind. They showed empathy and understanding. My surgeon and her team did an excellent job. There is plenty of follow up for any later concerns. Mandy in the blood lab was helpful and explained every step of my blood work. MD Anderson is an excellent facility with a skillful medical team and friendly receptionists. Too many to mention, Gisette [last name] helped with paperwork & Nurse Peggy.

Everything from the checkout service to the doctor everyone here is very nice and awesome. Everyone welcomes as soon as you walk through the doors, even if you’re not coming to their clinic, they still seems to be happy you’re here.

Dr. Gharia was absolutely fabulous.. By far one of the best physicians I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. His staff was fabulous as well. If I lived closer he would be my doctor.

Everyone I communicated with at the facility was friendly, helpful and did everything possible to answer every question and offered information I didn't think to ask. I definitely would tell my family and friends to use MD Anderson for their health needs. I look forward to my appointments knowing the people taking care of my medical needs are very good at their particular position in caring for me.

1. I loved how positive, professional and helpful all employees were. 2. Staff and doctors made sure I knew who to contact for answers to questions even though I had many doctors. 3. Schedulers made test appts that were convenient and closest to where I live. 4. I was given a binder to manage the information in an organized way. 5. I was given a resource manual. Excellent by the way! I liked that it was no-nonsense. 6. I was discussed in medical conference for all new patients to plan my care. Those who I met with for the first time, knew my history and had established a future plan to coordinate all of the disciplines. I felt a boost of confidence that I was in good hands.

Several things- 1 the speed of reaching out, getting appointments, responses from nurses and test results. 2- I feel like a person, not a number. When I ask a question if there is a concern, I get quick answers. 3- anyone and everyone I meet, are compassionate, caring and think more about the patient then I have ever experienced. I would only recommend MD Anderson.
