Kind. Professional. Knowledge. This was my first visit with Dr. Gharia and his team. He made me feel comfortable. He answered my questions and displayed a wonderful level of empathy. The staff from the front desk and beyond make each encounter pleasurable in these situations that can be very challenging. I'm glad I have the oncology team as mine. This journey is enhanced by the presence of the team.

Finally a organization that is professional and thorough. I am very grateful because my primary care was just the opposite. Fortunately for me my Breast Oncologist was able to answer questions to my lab work ordered a week prior and that I was notified by a MA that same day were good, and they were not, but my Oncologist had to my surprise my medical records history and was able to give me an answer for follow up care.

Ms. Barbara is the nurse who takes my vitals when I visit Dr. Gharia. She makes the visit an absolute pleasure even though I am there battling cancer. She is professional, kind, friendly and absolutely knowledgeable. Dr. Gharia in my opinion is saving my life and I am eternally grateful for all he does for me. MD Anderson is a Godsend. They have an incredible support system and are by your side every step of the way.

I chose MD Anderson Cancer Center for a second opinion, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The doctors were knowledgeable and compassionate, the entire facility was spotless and uplifting, and every staff member I encountered was friendly and supportive. It made a difficult situation feel much more manageable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking cancer care.

I always receive a friendly warm welcome by all the receptionists I encounter—in the lobby and clinics. Then, I’m immediately and efficiently taken care of by the nurse who takes my vitals. I actually enjoy my visits to Baptist MD Anderson, even if it’s to monitor my breast cancer. The doctors—from the surgeon to the Oncologist are never in a hurry, which allows me to ask all my questions. Thank you so much. I wish everyone who had cancer could receive this kind of care!
