Dr. Mills spends a lot of time with me each time I see him and really makes sure to explain everything in a very understandable way. Before my surgery I was very impressed with the way he gave me alternative nonsurgical treatments for my issue. I felt that I had all of the information I needed to make my own. personal choice of treatment. Thank you Dr. Mills

Dr Wodicka is WONDERFUL, he actually listens to you. Explaining pain when you are in pain is not easy, more so when you feel like everything hurts in the general area. Dr Wodicka knows exactly what to ask and have you do in order to figure out the plan of treatment required to "fix" the issue and stop the pain.

She needs to develop human connection. During my surgery she never called to check on me. She did not explain the pros & cons but mostly resulted on “cons” of my surgery leaving them out to my understanding. I feel that she does not go beyond on providing or assuring satisfactory outcomes. She also assumes and makes comments without asking. Normally, she is not that busy that patients could notice that she is “short of time”, like others “busy” doctors I visit. On her case, I don’t think that her poor or lack of bed side manner is because she is overwhelmed with other patients. Besides all of “personality impressions” above, my health issues still remain and they have been even developed “negatively” after my surgery.Based on my comments she could guess who is the patient on this survey, I think …

Please know that Dr .Mustafa (please forgive the name/spelling if not accurate, Dr. Burke's Fellowship physician who saw me before Dr. Burke; he is excellent, an absolute "keeper" with a bright future anywhere he chooses to work) was phenomenal and I would absolutely consider him to perform my surgery.On Dr. Burke: I went for medical/surgical advice, but mostly just received a heavy dose of dismissal and sexism. He successfully answered 28% of my questions before deciding my concerns weren't worth his time as they did not align with his rubric of prioritization for how he completes the surgical process. I didn’t realize my co-pay covered a time-travel trip back to the dark ages, but there I was...with an "obliterated left hip"...and excited to time travel back to modern times for my second surgical consult this week with another surgeon.Overall Takeaway: I left with two answers (one, I already had: I knew I required surgery) and a sudden urge to rebuff the patriarchy.

A new doctor actually saw me and diagnosed me without any prior introduction. Dr. Burke did come in but I do not want to be handed off to a new doctor.
