Would that he had more than 15 minutes for the visit. It is to his credit even that short period did not feel rushed.

He was very informative about my situation but I do have one more question- does Dr. Cope think that if all the screws and metal plates came out of my left hip repair, that my pain and discomfort would at lease subside?

As I said earlier, he is very personable. He takes the time to go over your films and results and what they mean for you. He's also very good about explaining what your options are and helping you decide your plan.
