I have enjoyed a positive experience with Dr. Burke for over a year. He successfully operated on my right knee with no painful aftereffects.

Please know that Dr .Mustafa (please forgive the name/spelling if not accurate, Dr. Burke's Fellowship physician who saw me before Dr. Burke; he is excellent, an absolute "keeper" with a bright future anywhere he chooses to work) was phenomenal and I would absolutely consider him to perform my surgery.On Dr. Burke: I went for medical/surgical advice, but mostly just received a heavy dose of dismissal and sexism. He successfully answered 28% of my questions before deciding my concerns weren't worth his time as they did not align with his rubric of prioritization for how he completes the surgical process. I didn’t realize my co-pay covered a time-travel trip back to the dark ages, but there I was...with an "obliterated left hip"...and excited to time travel back to modern times for my second surgical consult this week with another surgeon.Overall Takeaway: I left with two answers (one, I already had: I knew I required surgery) and a sudden urge to rebuff the patriarchy.

A new doctor actually saw me and diagnosed me without any prior introduction. Dr. Burke did come in but I do not want to be handed off to a new doctor.

As a physician, I was thoroughly impressed with the efficiency and detail the entire staff and Dr. Burke offered. It was a very pleasant experience. I know I am in the best of hands when I have surgery in a few weeks.

I also met with two members of his staff: Kelsey and Amanda.Kelsey took the time to answer all my questions.Andrea stated that she likes to communicate by phone rather than text or email. Overall I feel like they would respond if I try to reach them. That is reassuring.

He was the ONLY orthopedic doctor who actually examined me-put me up on exam table to examine my knee. NONE of the other docs I have seen ( and have seen several) took the time and effort to do that. He also asked me if I had any questions-amazing. Gave me choices of treatment too. I am really impressed by this doctor!

Professional exam with Kelsey prior to meeting with Dr. Burke, very thorough and friendly. Dr. Burke as usual professional, asking all the pertinent questions to ensure my recovery has been good. I am extremely comfortable with Dr. Burke, who completed a very successful hip replacement on my right leg approximately 4/5 years ago

Dr Burke has been my doctor for more than a decade and has operated on me 3 different times. He is brilliant, compassionate and kind and I feel like I am fully supported, listened to and understood in the most respectful manner. He is very tall and therefore I consider him a gentle giant of brilliance!
