Efficiency, professionalism. The facility is clean and inviting. I liked Dr Galani immensely. He listened to your needs, explained procedures and problem areas, offered recommendations all while putting the patient at ease with the situation.

I arrived for my 3 o'clock visit with Dr. Sotolongo at 2:45 as suggested by his office. I was taken
back almost immediately. After a quick check of my weight, BP and verification of my medications I immediately saw the doctor. He went over my test results, answered all questions and concerns to my satisfaction and sent me on my way. I was surprised to check my phone upon returning to my car that it was only 3:07 PM. How I wish that all of my medical visits were this great!

Dr. Sotolongo listens to me when I explain a problem and spends time talking to me about the issues. I never feel like he brushes me off or that he doesn’t really care. He has been my doctor since 2009 and I trust him totally.

Dr. Dibu is AMAZING! He takes as much time as you need to answer questions and explain everything. He runs on time and never makes you wait for very long.

I have been a patient of Dr. Galani since 2014 and have always found him to be a good listener and practitioner. The new heart patient office is much better organized than the previous office: More commodious waiting room and easier access to parking without having to navigate an elevator or stairs. Thanks!

I like everything very much so does my wife who was with me.
The Preparation specialist was very professional and detailed with what she was asking or saying.
She also is extremely pleasant.
Doctor Galani is very special and he obviously had reviewed my health issues. He has a great bedside manner is the way he presents.
He also found an issue and immediately sent a prescription to my pharmacy which I picked up the next day and started to use.
He also included my wife in the dialogue.

The knowledge, the care and the interest in their patients is something that is not present in treatment from many physicians. However, your physicians & staff are "all of the above", and I consider myself fortunate to be under the care of y our staff. I would recommend your practice & your staff to anyone looking for treatment that you offer.

4.13.2026 11a Beaches Cardiologist C. Sotolongo, MD office suite 101.
From the moment I walked through the door, a bright smile radiated and the face made eye contact. She then waved her hand and motioned for me to walk to her station.
She was effervescent, cheerful, her face exuded WELCOME.
Her name is Quean. She is a valued asset to your Team.
Next to her in another station was a woman who was experiencing the bane of every customer face position.... "the customer is always right & I want things 'My Way'". The gentleman was demanding, self-riotous, arrogant. He was appalled that he would need to reschedule and that would cause him to delay his follow-up by 2 additional weeks. Try as she might to calm him he was adamant this was unreasonable. "why wasn't I told!". someone should have texted me this morning to tell me. "Mr. .... I called you this morning @ 8.13 & left a message. "No one called me". She found the time stamp in her computer notes. At which he quickly changed course.... "well I did see a message but didn't recognize and I was busy".
All of this to say this patient was certainly worthy of a slight dose of 'attitude'.
Cindy held her calm, never broke stride treated him as tho he were her father's closest friend. I was not able to see the expression(s) on her face, due to privacy partition. I did, however, pay close attention her voice, inflection, volume. Not once did she alter her mannerisms.... even when she had him in a box.
Complete professionalism. Total control of her emotions.
When the patient left the reception area I commended her on her professionalism.
It was remarkable.
I shared both of these stories with Dr. Sotolongo.

When you walk into Baptist Heart Specialists, you’re always greeted at check‑in. They care for their patients whether or not you have an appointment or questions. I didn’t have an appointment, but after I explained my issue I saw a nurse. My primary cardiologist, Dr. [full name], wasn’t available, so they arranged for me to see Dr. Ruple Galani. He was professional and listened to my concerns. The best at the Beaches. Check out service just as friendly.
