Dr. Zakko, MD was very friendly and professional at the same time. She put me at ease and I was very satisfied with the outcome. She spoke in easy to understand terms and explained what I needed to do for relief from the pain I was experiencing.

Unfortunately, I felt Dr. Zakko had poor professionalism and my visit with her to establish primary care was not thorough. When taking my family history she said “that sucks” to one of my family member’s medical history. She did not ask if I smoke or drink alcohol. I also did not receive any recommendations for annual lab work, which I have had done at every annual PCP visit as an adult. I am disappointed and am concerned she does not represent Northwestern Medicine well. All of my specialty care has been fantastic, why is primary care struggling so much?

I was visiting Dr. Jennifer for the first time after my earlier Doctor moved out of state. She was very kind and empathetic, she understood my case and situation, provided guidance that are in my best interests. I look forward to having her as my Primary Care doctor. Thank You Dr. Jennifer!
