The staff was knowledgeable and very thoughtful. The office staff was helpful in navigating tests and creating appointments. Though the waiting room was clean and well-appointed, the room where my test was performed looked unfinished with missing floorboards, cabinets did not appear to be attached to the wall, the base boards were removed leaving an unsightly damaged dry wall. The professional treatment did not match with the unfinished environment.

The staff was very polite but I specifically requested an Open MRI for my shoulder and when I got back into the room it was the standard "tube". My only option was to wait 45 minutes. No reference was made to their mistake.

Chesapeake Medical Imaging is the best place to go for mri, ultrasound, mammograms and more. They are clean, professional and quick. Appointments run on time. They are fast and courteous. Highly recommend.

OMG!! I am literally sitting in my car thinking about the wonderful experience I just had getting an MRI. It is crazy because I’ve always hated MRIs - the whole experience of feeling confined and claustrophobic, with an impatient tech and a machine so loud you can’t even distract yourself or hear yourself think. However, my experience at Chesapeake Medical Imaging (CMI) in Annapolis was an experience everyone should have when getting an MRI. First of all, I was sent to the MRI at Excelsia Injury Care and felt like I was in a coffin. The tech was kind of impatient with me so it was embarrassing not being able to stay in the MRI machine. I had a panic attack- almost immediately and couldn’t go through with it so my lawyer sent me to CMI……and oh boy! The Tech’s name was Brandon. He was super friendly and very understanding. He took time to explain the whole experience and even offered any music I wanted to listen to during the process (I chose R&B. old skool and Beyoncé. They have to keep those rooms cold because of the machine but he covered me with blankets, offered breaks, checked on me throughout the process and I never once even got nervous. Heck, it was cold but only when I wasn’t distracted by all the songs I loved. I sang (but I was very careful to only move my fingers instead of dancing though). That was the hardest part of the whole thing. LOL!! 😂 I am a Veteran and I’ve had probably 5-7 MRIs in the last 20 years with different companies and never even imagined I could have such a good experience. It’s really funny when I look back on it, but I kind of feel like I had a good time - in am MRI machine. Hilarious, but true. Is that strange? Anyway, I can see on their business card they have many locations. Now, I can’t speak for what they do at other locations, but I can’t tell you the one in Annapolis was by far the best experience with MRIs I’ve ever had (coming from someone with pretty severe claustrophobia).
