Dr Hitzelbergeris great. He takes an interest in how your doing and he has really helped me find out what was causing my hemoglobin to be high.. We were able to lower it enough so that I could see a ob gyn oncology surgeon and had a hysterectomy with suspenseful results.We now successfully have my blood disorder under control. With medication and I see him every 6 months . I can not thank him enough.I am so grateful to him and his staff.

I have always recommended the cancer center in Alpena. After my last two visits in the cancer center wouldn't recommend no more, it was not a smooth visit when I did my testing this year on [DATE] total unprepared for my visit. Then when I went back to see doctor on [DATE] they could not make all my up coming appointments for me. Very disappointed on how things are being ran. If it was not for my wonderful doctor I would be somewhere else.
