Dr. HITZELBERGER IS SO NICE. HE MAY NOT ALWAYS AGREE WITH MY DECISIONS BUT THATS ON ME. I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT IN HIS CARE.

He is a caring, extremely well educated physician who listens carefully to what you say and makes sure you have answers you need. He doesn’t hesitate to put your health as top priority for you. He is kind and very patient. I would highly recommend him.

They are wonderful but when I had blood draw 🩸 n cancer center nurse wouldn’t listen to me and blew two veins in my hand. Finally a male nurse came in and used correct area I had suggested and good blood. My hand sore and very discolored for three days. Just was not respectful and wouldn’t listen

Alpena Cancer Center ROCKS!! When you first walk in you’re greeted with friendly and welcoming faces and they always smile and call you by name. Everyone knows their job and does it very well and with pride. Dr. Bill is the best! I’ve been seeing Dr. Bill for 10 years and three separate cancers and I truly believe that he fights as hard as I do for my health. He doesn’t tell me “this is what we’re going to do.” We talk about it and go through my options and decide together what the next step is.
