I'm very thankful to have Dr Hitzelberger as my oncologist. He's very comfortable to confide in and responds easily to my questions. I'm so grateful for the Alpena Hospital, all the staff I've met, and the services it provides.

Friendly and outgoing staff. Listens to what you say. Never a long waiting period. I love that my appointments are all set up on the same day so I don’t have to drive multiple times since sim 40 minutes away. Highly recommend.

he listened to what I had to say and answered my questions thoroughly. This is my first time dealing with cancer and the Dr. tries to answer the questions I have which are many. He is honest and doesn't 'pull any punhes.'

Kind, considerate, and very patient. Never made me feel bad about asking questions, no matter how difficult or simple they were. Always called me by my name and would make me feel comfortable. They all are very friendly.
