William Hitzelberger, D.O.
I see Dr Hitzelberger on a regular basis. I have the highest respect for him. In addition, I find that he is personable and easy to communicate with. I have also had a lot of interaction with the infusion center, radiology and phlebotomy, all of which have been pleasant, professional and overall a good experience.

On my first visit with him he came in very knowledgeable about my previous medical history. He had done his homework, he knew the numerous surgeries and other health issues I have had. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He took plenty of time to explain my treatment plan. He made sure all of my questions were answered. I am very pleased to have him as my new oncologist!

The Doc. And his nurse Mary do a 100percent. A month before i came in i had typed and asked a question and sent it to them and never heard anything back from his girls that due the appointments. ⁰

Excellent care! Staff are friendly and compassionate. Two years cancer free. Care has been available close to our home.

I love that I get in right away and no waiting and they seem very considerate and listen to my concerns. Everyone is always polite.

Provider and care team are all compassionate and caring people. As a patient I am always treated with smiles and repeatedly asked if there is anything I need or they can get to help with comfort. Many times you don’t even need to ask, they just know and take care of you. Superior staff in all aspects of the cancer center side. I cannot vouch for the radiology clinic.

Overall, Dr. Preston is a very good provider. He listens and answers questions. The office staff might routinely provide basic written information about the diagnosed illness. In terms of my illness, I was not familiar with the term chronic myeloid leukemia. But I was very capable of researching it online. That may not be true of everyone in this rural area.

That he's very compassionate and caring. He explains everything in lamin terms so it's easy to understand. He never makes me feel rushed through my appointments. He has made this time in my life easier to deal with because of his treatments and his care

I would have to say I feel so strongly about the fact that Dr. Bill is in this fight with me. He’s compassionate and professional. But the most that I’m impressed with is his ability to tell you like it is straight and honest. We have conversations about my care and I feel involved and valued. The staff from front desk, scheduling, nurses and last but not least the angels in the back infusion who take such wonderful care of me. Exceptional people!!

Dr. Hitzelberger has to be the best doctor I have ever been the most fortunate to be able to see. He is always prepared with test results and encouragement in my treatment routine, I am so lucky to have him on my medical team.
