I am disappointed with the lack of guidance or attention given to menopausal issues and effects on my daily life. I requested a hormone panel to ensure the medicine I am taking is working for my cancer care. I was told we don't do that, we know it is working because you are having hot flashes. It is frustrating when issues are ignored or dismissed. Women deserve better.

Dr. Levandowski took the time to check my records and prescriptions and ask pertinent questions. She ordered tests that made me feel very well cared for. Even the counseling service was so warm and caring that I felt very fortunate to have found this team.

Dr. Levandowski is a highly professional specialist, and she's very personable, too. Another of my specialists practicing in a different medical discipline recommended Dr. Levandowski to me. He said that he'd send his own mother to her if the need arose, and he'd go to her himself if he were a cancer patient. My first-ever appointment with Dr. Levandowski was at her office in West Branch, which was a 30-minute drive from my home in good weather. Immediately after that first visit, she moved her practice to Midland, which meant that my drive time to see her in person would be much longer--about two hours in good weather and longer in wintry conditions. Some patients may have switched to a different oncologist to continue being seen in the West Branch area, but I've stuck with Dr. Levandowski for two reasons: (1) I trust her expertise and (2) having video visits with Dr. Levandowski allows me to be home to care for my senior husband and our elderly Golden Retriever.

I’ve been going to Dr. Levandowski for at least 10 years. My husband and I both really like her. She is an excellent hematologist. She is very caring and really listens to me and always answers all my questions.

She asked me some good questions that I haven’t been asked before. She asked me if I was feeling anxious because of my diagnosis. She reviewed the form I filled out which indicated I didn’t have any problems like with pain, depression, etc. She said you don’t have problems? She answered my questions and was engaging.
