I felt that my appointment was rushed, likely due to it being the last one before the Memorial Day weekend. I inquired about sun spots and was advised to have them removed. However, the aftercare instructions and the extent of protection required for the treated areas, especially during summer, were not thoroughly explained. I attempted to call the office for a post-appointment summary literally 10 minutesafter my appointment, as I was experiencing severe pain, but unfortunately, they had closed immediately after my visit and went to their voivemail. Consequently, I had to resort to online research and schedule an urgent care appointment. Given the sensitive locations of the sun spots on my face and forehead, I was unaware that the recovery process could take several months to a year, necessitating specific precautions beyond sunscreen during the summer. I wish I had received a more comprehensive discussion prior to the procedure, rather than a brief response, as I would have opted to delay the treatment until winter, thereby avoiding the disruption of my summer plans.
