I went in as a new patient with a new skin condition to have a full body scan. The doctor walked around me, flipped my gown around and was done examining me in 10 seconds. My hematologist did a more thorough skin exam than this dermatologist.
I loved the Dr. I had, I wish I had more of an idea on what I would be paying at the end, I gave my co-pay and had to pay at the end of the treatment as well.
All of the staff were very pleasant & professional. Dr Scott Zahner has a very friendly disposition and seemed to give a thorough exam. He explained his findings well.
Dr seemed rushed. Dr didnt offer much information about my condition or ask if I had any questions , just entered the room and came at me in the side chair with a big lit up magnafieng glass and stuck in my face. It was awkward disrobing while the dr and asst were looking at me- couldn't I have been given a pair of disposable shorts? As a new pt I would think the dr would be a bit more cordial. I wasn't even put in the examining chair. It seemed to me like they just wanted to get out of there. There was a problem with the rx the dr prescribed . The pharmacy called the dr to discuss and she didnt return the call that day or the next so I still don't have the medication and don't know when I'll be able to get it meanwhile I'm suffering. Maybe I misunderstood but the receptionist was defensive when asked about submitting insurance. I was confused because she made it sound like I had to pay in full on the way out and then the claim would be submitted. When trying to get clarification her tone changed and she called me ma'am in tense tone. The woman scheduling my initial appt was friendly and helpful, that was the best apart of the whole my experience with this office. Otherwise I was left with the feeling that this office has too many patients and they didn't care if I was there or not. I felt like just another body that had to be seen and I dont want to return.
