From the very first moment I contacted Dr. Bavinger’s office, I knew I was in the right hands. I had suddenly begun seeing dark spots, what I described as “planets” in my right eye and his team got me in immediately. Dr. Bavinger quickly identified that my retina was tearing and performed the necessary procedure right there in the office.
Throughout the entire process, he managed my fears with compassion and professionalism. Every time I called with a concern, he never dismissed me, he saw me right away. His attentiveness, calm demeanor, and genuine care turned what could have been a terrifying experience into one of complete trust and reassurance.
Today, I’m happy to say my eye is healing beautifully, and I’ve officially been cleared for a year. Beyond his remarkable medical skill, Dr. Bavinger’s bedside manner is exceptional. He doesn’t just see you, he truly hears you.
His staff reflects the same kindness and excellence. They are polite, patient, and always make you feel welcome. The waiting area even offers thoughtful touches like snacks, water, apple juice, coffee, and tea are a small but meaningful reminder that patient comfort comes first.
It’s rare to find a doctor and team that blend top-tier medical expertise with such authentic care. Dr. Bavinger is an exceptional physician and human being. I’m deeply grateful.

Routine and easily done. I’ve been seeing Dr Chun nearly ten years and I have had one important surgery with him. We now just monitoring my eyes to make sure nothing else changes. He is a fantastic eye doctor.

Dr. Do is amazing. When I was first diagnosed with AMD, I cried becaause I thought that was a blindness sentance. He reassured me that he would not let that happen, and he hasn't. After 5 years, my eyes are stable and I have good vision in spite of having AMD. I am very grateful for his excellent advice and care.

I've seen Dr. Do only 3-4 times. Each time was a really great experience. He is kind, he listens , he's caring and I have never felt rushed. Really a wonderful physician. The office seems to be very well run and all of the front desk people are quite nice. Over all, I look forward to my visits believing there will be no snags on board!!

A very, very impressive neurological ophthalmologist. Exceptional communications skills. Able to explain highly complex and rare conditions, treatment options available, relative pros and cons and potential complications against likelihood of success. Also is proactive in reaching out to my other medical specialists to ensure that he has access to all available data on my case. I cannot more highly recommend him.

I recently had an exam with another ophthalmologist, but he didn't tell me I had cataracts. I was referred to Dr. Chun for a retina problem and he advised me that I needed cataract surgery. I had always thought it was due to presbyopia, but he referred me to a cataract specialist and helped me with my severe dry eye. I'm truly grateful. He's an excellent ophthalmologist.
