It is very important for a patient to trust her/his doctor. More over when you trust him to give you a shot in your eyes. Before I was not familiar with the word “Macular degeneration” I couldn’t imagine you get a shot inside your eye. It took me a long time to think about it. I was lucky to met Dr. Aziz Khanifar. I trust him.

Dr Katira is someone you can trust. She is very skilful and consistently professional and very kind. Her staff who do the exams are easy to understand, efficient and personable. The receptionists are well organized and pleasant in person and on the phone. It is a busy office- I see Dr. Katira on Fenton St., Silver Spring, but waiting is kept to a minimum.

Dr. Mathai is very attentive and I would definitely go back to her again. The staff are very friendly. It takes a while for your eyes to dilate but the wait times seem longer than necessary.
