As a new patient, my experience was positive. Dr. Mathai was thorough and communicated my diagnosis and instructions clearly. She gave full attention to what I was saying. I felt comfortable with her examination. I feel that I can trust her to give me wise advice about my medical condition. The entire office staff was professional, courteous, and skilled. I highly recommend.

Getting a needle in your eye is not fun. At all. Dr. Katira is truly the kindest, most empathetic doctor. She has worked with me to give me maximum numbing drops (now a gel, which works so much better for me), updates me in language I can understand on progress, and even switched meds when she thought it was not progressing as it should. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Katira. If you have to go through something as awful as this, you want her as your doctor!
