Dr. Mariam Mathai, M.D.
I called on a Friday afternoon after I developed light flashes in my eye. I was able to see Dr. Mathai on Monday morning, so was appreciative of the promptness of getting me in. Dr. Mathai is thorough and explains what she is finding. I like her manner and professionalism.

Every visit with Dr. Mathai is great in every sense. There is an elegance to her demeanor that totally complements her impecable bedside manner. I feel blessed to have her in the group of healthcare proffessionals assisting me.

my first appointment a week ago was really excellent, but today on April 11,
I was not feeling strong and my brain just couldn’t answer any questions. I am so sorry. I do appreciate that I am lucky enough to have such an exceptional doctor. Thank you very much.

Although this was only my 2nd visit with Dr. Wang I am thoroughly impressed with his technical skills and also very impressed with his mannerisms. By that I mean that he is a very nice guy and is very patient oriented. He is at the top of my list of physicians that I deal with: he is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. You know instantly that you like him and can trust him with your eyes.

I been under the care of Dr. Mathai for a couple years now, she is kind, caring and compassionate. When I started seeing Dr Mathai I was newly diagnosed with diabetes and was having a hard time with my vision and was extremely scared because I know what can come with my disease. She assured me that I will be fine and we are going to get it under control. I’m so grateful to have such a caring doctor in my corner.

Notified me in person that my eyes needed a few more minutes to completely dilate. Came back and proceeded to check each eye telling me what she was seeing. After the exam Dr Mathai did a recap of the checkup and discussed a followup in 12 or 24 months.

Great experience as soon as I walked in. I didn’t have a referral from the right doctor, and your front desk staff was very patient and helpful. Mohamed is so great at his job, and it really shows. He really has a good vibe. I can’t remember the girls name from the front desk. She’s very pretty and has long hair. Anyway she had a good vibe too. And Dr Mathai was very professional, pleasant, and shows compassion. Very thorough explaining things on what the next steps are.

Very efficient process, and Dr. Mathai was very clear and warm as always.
My only concern is that Dr. Mathai and the front desk don't seem to be on the same page about the Good Days program, which left me feeling pretty unsure about the status. But I think that's mainly because the status is unsure.

My excellent ophtalmologist (Dr. Athanasios George) referred my wife and me to Dr. Desai for a specialized consult. We have now been patients of Dr. Desai for more than two years. We have full confidence in his expertise and skills. Very thorough, takes the time necessary, good advice and information, takes prompt preventive and curative action as needed. Highly recommended.
