I appreciate Dr. Vu’s candor in ensuring I understand the process and proper treatment for my medical issue(s). He answers ALL of my questions. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Vu – he is great.

My wait time was about 15 20 minutes once I was escorted back to the waiting room from having my eyes dilated. Once I was taken back to a room, my wait time for Dr. Mathai was about 10 minutes. She immediately apologized for the delay due to an emergency. Overall,I thought my wait time was within reason. Dr. Mathai was very thorough and she explained each step of my appointment.

RGW-Chevy Chase scheduled my appointment when very little wait. I saw 2 RGW staff in addition to Dr. Lai - all highly competant. Dr. Lai explained in a manner that was patient and understandable regarding my eyes like major negative conditions or changes since my prior visit that might be indicative of future degradation. Fortunately, "bottom line" for me is that my eyes remain stable and show none of the above.

To be honest, my need to consult with her came a a complete shock as, until very recently, I had no problems with my eyesight.
Her approach to my condition was considerate and empathic.
She was very thorough and explained her findings and the implications in a straight forward and comprehensive manner.
The need to immediately address my condition was direct and in language that to the layman,, easily understood.
My condition has vastly improved since my consultation and the level of anxiety I felt before has been allayed because of the level of trust she instilled.

I am so thankful I am under Dr. Johnson's care since 2012 and until these days.. Dr. Johnson is very kind, understanding, and thorough when he checks my eyes. He's the best surgeon in this field. I am so grateful I have such a great doctor who can explains everything to me when I seek answers. I go to Rockville office and I'd say that all staff has been very wonderful. The office is clean and everyone is so friendly. Thank you to all staff, technicians for all wonderful service.

The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and flexible as I was late to my appointment.
Dr. Mathai was able to do a thorough exam to follow up on a previous ocular concern. She also explained things in understandable terms.

Have been following up with Dr Reilly with my post laser retina treatments.All in all, have been very pleased with a thorough professional care provided by Dr Reilly and her staff. Dr Reilly gives adequate time in explaining any questions, concerns and after visits care. Associates are very courteous, and wait time is just about night.
