Dr. Lai is the consummate professional with superb expertise in his field. From the moment he walked in and introduced himself, asking me to describe in my words the issue - I knew I was in good hands. He explained how he was going to conduct the exam, was thorough, explained all in understandable detail, and made prudent suggestions. He listened carefully and addressed all my questions, I never felt rushed. What more could we want in a caring physician?

I came to see Dr. Lai regarding an issue I have currently, but we took the time for me to have a regular annual check up. While the issue I am having really is with the cornea of one eye, Dr. Lai explained the relationship between it and the retina in the affected eye. We discussed briefly what seems a wise course for me to take. I am grateful for his help.

Dr. Lai has been my Retinologist since May of 2009. He's an excellent doctor. He has our utmost confidence. We have recommended him to a number of friends. He's has a gentle approach & easy to talk with. I've had 3 cases of retinal tears & Dr. Lai has done an excellent job of fixing me up. My husband, Lewis, is now one of his patients as well. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Lai for all he has done for us over these past 14 years. We think the world of him.
We are so very blessed to have him as our Retinologist.
