ED RMC - Childrens
The experience was really wonderful. I felt heard and I felt a lot of empathy. It didn't ever feel like they were downplaying my son's injury. It was a very mild sprain and they never made me feel bad for bringing my son in. In fact, they made me feel very welcomed and they were so kind to my son, so I would absolutely come back. They were so dialed. Everything was very thorough and quick. Very much appreciated.

The nurses and doctors in the pediatric ER were so helpful in every way possible. Renown has always been the best care.

Had a great experience from the pediatrician to the nurses (Jamie & her partner) and the Child Life (Jen). Everyone has been so caring, knowledgeable and professional! Kudos to Dr. West for being thorough and finding the cause why our kiddo was acting out of his norm.

Our 17-year-old boy is autistic and is a big challenge getting medical treatment. The team at Renown did an on job with him and we couldn't be happier.

Dr Gould and RN Lisa were incredible. They were kind and spoke in a way my daughter could understand. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Renown is the only hospital I trust to take my children to. Every single time I have taken my children there in any situation, the staff has been professional, helpful, and educated, and given us the best care possible.

Yes, I had probably the best emergency room experience I've ever had with my son on the 23rd. The doctor and the nurses, especially one of the nurses, I'm not sure of her name, I think it was his main nurse, but they went above and beyond anything they had to do to make sure that my son had what he needed to go home. And they even reached out to the sheriff's department to make sure that my son got his eating, his bottle supplies and his eating supplies that he needed that was left at our home during fires. They were, one nurse, I'm not sure of her name, but she called the sheriff's department, her dispatch, and got somebody to go out to my house, contact me and then go out to my house.

Dr Gassen spent a good amount of time explaining things to myself and specifically my teenager. He really related to her. I'm super appreciative of him and as always the staff and all professionals at Renown. Thank you for everything ��

Our doctor was fantastic. Best experience we have ever had in an ER. She was quick, but thorough and extremely kind and explained the situation that both my son and I could understand. Would recommend her to everyone! From check in to discharge, everyone we interacted with was nice and understanding.

We are so grateful for the renown peds ER team. The whole process was very quick and we felt listened to and reassured of a care plan that was both conservative but addressed our needs appropriately. Dr. Shook was very caring and was sure to cover all the bases to prevent a possible reasmission. She was collaborative with us as well as the pharmacist and we felt well cared for.
Additionally, the text updates of where we were at in the process from admission to discharge was great!

Dr. Gassen was absolutely amazing. I wish all dr were as kind and patient as he was. I’ve had a few visits with my baby to the ER and he by far has been a dr that I would remember and hope to always get!
Colton out to who was kind and personable. He explained what was happening during the EKG, what it was for and walked us through the process for each step he took.
I could feel that both Dr. Gassen and Colton enjoyed their jobs and working the pediatrics floor!

Provider and nursing staff was incredible. We got misdiagnosed a few months ago at the urgent care, so this time we went straight to the childrens er and the provider was so understanding and validated our decision. The team was quick to get us roomed and seen, they made sure she was feeling better before discharge and sent us home to ensure she would keep improving. I appreciate the kindness and knowledge everyone showed us. It was a very pleasant experience.

It’s really important to my family that we go to the hospital that is non-profit and affiliated with a medical school, so Renown is the obvious choice for us. I felt like my son was in good hands the whole time. Besides the knowledgeable and friendly clinicians, the facility was tidy and I felt our room was properly clean upon our arrival.

The doctor I had last night 08-12-2026 wasn’t very friendly or helpful . No answer given to my worries and concerns about my baby boy.
But the doctor I had the night of 08-11-2026 was very friendly and super helpful.
Also a nurse I forgot her name wasn’t very friendly when I asked where the restroom was she was like where it’s always been. They need to be a bit for friendly or look for a job that doesn’t make them feel very annoyed and fraudsterateh with children

From the moment we checked into the children’s ER, the nurses and doctor took great care our child. Dr. Regas was amazing and kept us informed our entire visit. We are so thankful for the amazing care our child received here.

Of course, emergency room visits are highly variable. However, this was probably the friendliest, smoothest, least busy Renown ER visit ever.

For such a traumatic incident Renown made the situation so much better helped my husband and I feel more at ease. Renown has always been my go to for urgent care and ER visits, especially the Children’s Hospital. I will forever go to Renown. Thank you to all of the dr’s and nurses that helped my family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Went to the children’s emergency. My son was vomiting a lot that night out of no where and was complaining about stomach pain. It was late at night and had no other choice but to take him to the emergency room. I was surprised how quickly we were taken in from the front desk, to the triage nurse, roomed, immediately seen by the doctor and had an ultrasound tech come in. I’m especially glad they were able to give him Zofran to ease his nausea/vomiting. Not sure what it’s like for them any other night, but I feel like we were extremely fortunate to be seen and taken care of so quickly. Other children’s emergency rooms we’ve been to in the past make us wait hours before being able to see the triage nurse and even more so to get roomed/see the doctor. To be honest, I’ve heard a few not so great stories about this hospital/emergency room, but our experience was nothing but great and very thankful for the staff that night!

Dr Gassen was absolutely amazing with our baby boy and we truly appreciated him even calling the next day to see how baby was feeling. He was extremely personable and you can tell he truly cares. The nurses that did the blood draw on our baby were extremely sweet to our little guy as well.

I have visited this facility several times in regards to my children. I have always had an excellent and very satisfactory experience from front desk to nurses to doctors! Thankyou for being an amazing all rounder!

Great experience, although I thought there were too many students asking the same questions, and one was trying to do exam on my son to look in his ears and it felt weird without a Dr supervising because she couldn't do it with him moving around.

The ER experience was good. But what made things go from good to great was the ability to get my child's medication from the in house pharmacy 10 min after discharge. I was concerned that I would have to travel to an off site CVS or Walgreens and wait till the doors opened to get my prescription(my experience was between 2am and 5am). I left the hospital with a diagnosis and medication which made the experience perfect!

I use Renown for everything because I feel it is reliable, everything is connected with mychart and records, and i feel like the peopleare great. I had an odd situation where I was at the Mill St Renown with someone recovering from surgery. The nurse there helped me contact the S Meadows emergency to give a heads-up of the situation with my son coming in with a family member. I got there quickly and my son was already in an ER room, and the whole process was very quick to get me back with him.

Although it’s never fun to come to the ER with your child, the staff made this a 10/10 experience. They were caring, kind and thoughtful. They also got us in, seen, and out of there as soon as possible. We’re so glad we chose Renown and we are forever grateful to our treating physician and everyone we came into contact with. You guys are really the best.
