Although it’s never fun to come to the ER with your child, the staff made this a 10/10 experience. They were caring, kind and thoughtful. They also got us in, seen, and out of there as soon as possible. We’re so glad we chose Renown and we are forever grateful to our treating physician and everyone we came into contact with. You guys are really the best.

Yes, I would like to say that the child life specialist was wonderful, all of the staff and doctors were great and I have no complaints, but I believe that the child life specialist is what makes the children's department stand out. I had never encountered one before as our child has never been in the ER, but I did know the program existed. This made ease for my son and also myself as the parent who was there. And I believe that there needs to be one on staff all the time for every patient if there isn't already. It's a valuable program and such an asset.

The doctor was super caring, loving, kind, easy to understand, very clear and gave me evidence-based and all the information that I needed. And then the nurse held my baby while I used the bathroom and instead of like taking him back away to the nurse's station and continue what she was doing, she stood outside the bathroom with my son as I used the restroom. And I didn't even ask them if they could hold the baby. She just offered to hold him while I used the restroom. So it was great. Thank you for that. Thank you for allowing me to have a non-stressful experience.

The doctor was very thorough. He did not make me feel like a crazy parent at all, and he gave my daughter the best care possible and a ton of reassurance moving forward. I couldn't be more grateful.

RN Charles Banfield and Dr. Eric Sanders went above and beyond. Knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and extremely efficient. I couldn’t imagine anyone giving my child better care and I would never take him anywhere else!

Honestly, every staff member I dealt with went above and beyond to make my daughter and I calm and safe. From the Reno Paramedics Guys, to the hospital security guards, the nurses and the amazing Doctor, everyone was AMAZING and had the best bedside manner! I would 1000% recommend Renoun to anyone in Reno! Thank you ??

Renown (Mill St) emergency level of service was unlike anything we have experienced thus far. The team was empathetic yet education on decisions and next steps. Options and follow up were clearly communicated. The discharge process was the most efficient and expedited which is most appreciated.

The child life care advocate nurse that we had, I think her name was Jen, was absolutely amazing. My daughter was not scared during the IV process. She tried to distract her. She kept talking to her. She was so kind and had so many little trinkets and toys in her bag that it made the process not at all like scary or traumatizing for my daughter or myself. So I really appreciated her.

I cannot remember the physicians names but they were so patient and kind to me and my children. They took the time to hear my concerns and to reassure me that it’s better to get checked out than to worry at home. My children felt safe and seen as did I. Couldn’t have asked for a better visit

The children's hospital took very good care of my sweet baby. From the front desk lady named Wendy that helped get us to the right place to Andrea the RN that took such good care of my baby who was so congested, the experience I had was excellent and I will definitely bring my baby back if needed. They give all the necessary care but they make you wait too long. I did check in at 7 and they didn't call until midnight I don't think that makes sense. Besides that everything was okay.

The ER team was great. Good people helping parents and kids in times of crisis helped lessen the stress and pain. Please let them know how much their work is appreciated.
