Emergency room is not some where anyone wants to be with there kid but not a bad experience everyone was helpful and really great with my daughter .

My daughter was terrified of going to the hospital, but after our visit she was not afraid anymore and wanted to go back. All the nurses and doctors were extremely nice. One of the best experiences under the circumstances. Thank you for making a traumatic experience into something special for my family. Everyone from the EMTs to the firefighters who showed up and helped and were extremely sweet, overall it was one of the most memorable experiences. Thank you!

Both my daughter and I are incredibly grateful for Dr. Gassen. He was amazing and understood her unique case. He was able to swiftly stabilize her condition and prevent more severe complications.

Staff was able to bring my child back quickly. They immediately knew the type of cough and sickness my child exhibited and gave me clear reasons to return if my son was not better after so many days.

The nurses we had, specifically Andrea, Sam, and Sopie (or Sophia? Sorry I can't remember which one it was!) Were absolutely amazing. So was Manny the person watching my daughter. They were very kind, they listened to me, they were helpful and friendly. They had my back in a really tough situation. I can not say enough how amazing fhe people I named are.

Being at Renown was such a blessing because the staff were so sweet and everyone was just so kind and welcoming and informative and just you could tell had a heart to help. So I was just so thankful to be there and would absolutely recommend the children's department, the ED, and would absolutely go back if I needed to. I'm just so thankful.

The hospital was extremely packed. It was a Friday the 13th, but they still managed to get us in, x-rays done, and out in a timely manner.

Great Experience!
Was checked in, vitals taken, and seen by a doctor in no time. Prognosis determined and discharged in under an hour. Thank you, Renown pediatric emergency room staff for going above and beyond all expectations!

In regard to the question about me being informed of delays- no, but I also understood that my kid was very low acuity with only have a rock shoved in his ear so a delay was expected.
I cannot say enough about the staff. The nurse was so sweet to my son, even when he was screaming. The provider did NOT give up and just say, “welp, I can’t do it, he will have to go to an ENT.� He tried and tried. At one point he told me that he wasn’t confident that they could get it out but he still tried. The provider and the medic/tech tried different methods and BAM ?, he got it out. I was So grateful. Everyone was so pleasant. I used to work in a trauma ED (not PEDS, that takes a special person) and I almost thought to myself, “this makes me want to go back to the ED.� THAT is how amazing everyone was! I wasn’t sure which nurse was his main nurse but she was FABULOUS (there are a few nurses on in his clinical note). Dr Regas was fantastic and didn’t give up!

I can’t say thanks enough, the staff was very loving and friendly from entrance to exit!!! Also everything was very clean, orderly and in good condition from curb to bed! Thank you for making a bad situation much better!!! May God bless the souls working hard for us in your beautiful hospital!

The whole care team was amazing and attentive! Brandon, I honestly can't remember his name, got vitals quickly and did a wonderful job of keeping my very scared hurt kiddo calm. He was so gentle when doing the splint and was absolutely the best part.

Shelbie RN was amazing she was very attentive And made sure I understood everything that was being done with my son’s care. There was a little misunderstanding about a blood draw but she made sure to bring the doctor back and explain our care plan again. She reassured me. She was absolutely amazing! Also drawing my son’s blood he didn’t even cry. Mary the child experience person. Was AMAZING. I have never experienced anything like that. She explained everything so throughly to my son and had a whole lot for him to touch and feel. She validated his feeling of being scared but reassured him that everything was going to be okay and they were just here to help him. I was truly impressed with her expertice. As a result of that my son didn’t even feel the poke and they were able to draw the blood. Mary and Shelbie truly made this experience a great one.

The registration nurses were excellent, kind, considerate, professional the nurse that does the body and the weight was very sweet. Felt like a sister very good with the children with their fingers with their weight and their concerns and the doctor was fabulous and the his staff in the back overall, their hospitality kindness was extremely comforting for a mother thank you and God bless you all

I really loved the little game that was projected on the floor. There was like a game projected on the floor and it would like change every few minutes. My daughter absolutely loved that. It kept her very happy as we were waiting for a bit. I also thought that the doctor and the nurse that we worked with were just so lovely. I can't remember their names, but it was the nurse and the doctor once we went into the room at the end where she got the care my daughter did. They were just so, so wonderful, super kind with my daughter, made her feel so comfortable, and explained everything to me so I knew exactly what choices I could make and what the options were. My daughter liked it so much. As we were leaving, she asked when we could come back, which I hope we don't

From start to finish, they made this one of the easiest and best ER visits. My daughter had the best nurses and doctor attend to her. They made her comfortable and made her feel at ease every minute that we were there!
