She’s the best provider I’ve ever seen for my arthritis. Her genuine passion for understanding these diseases makes the years of being untreated feel a little less heavy, because I finally feel like someone wonderful is truly in my corner. It’s not about her saying she cares - it’s how she shows it. She explains the “why” behind every test, takes the time to go through my imaging with me, and makes sure I understand what’s actually happening in my body.
Out of all the X-rays I’ve had, no rheumatologist has ever taken the time to show me the images themselves. She does, and that alone is incredibly validating. Her attention to detail and commitment to understanding the diseases makes me feel seen and understood in a way I haven’t experienced before.

I like Dr. A. I became her patient after my doctor left the practice. I’ve seen her twice but both times she listened to me and offered recommendations for a path forward. So far, so good.

1/22/26. My doctor's visit today with Dr. Machua was excellent as usual 💫 as well as with the front office personnel checking me in and Dr.Machua's nurse.... they were very pleasant and helpful 💫 Dr. Machua has truly been a blessing in my treatment of my medical conditions 🙌 Last year, after I was informed that I needed to be treated by a Rheumatologist, and then after searching online at Piedmont.Org, I noticed Dr. Machua's superb reviews, I asked my doctor for a referral to Dr. Machua. From the very first visit with this EXCELLENT doctor, she directed me on a path to a much healthier body.... the pain that I was experiencing, and my mobility is much better now. I had started exercising and physical therapy. I complied with my doctors' treatment plans that were provided to me, and my body is in much better condition now. I must confess that when I slacked off from my treatment plan for a little while, my body started a decline. I have made the change now to continue back to my treatment plan 💫 Also I have solved my only issue of dreading the drive to my appointments there having to drive through the slow-moving heavy traffic through downtown. I now leave an hour earlier for my appointments, and now the slow paced traffic there doesn't bother me now because while cruising to the appointment, I don't feel rushed and frustrated because I now have plenty of time to arrive there early and have some chill time. I am very grateful for this helpful change because regardless of the distance and traffic frustrations, I would always deal with it if I had to in order to be able to continue to have SUPER FANTASTIC EXCELLENT DOCTORS like
