Of all the doctors I’ve experienced in almost 60 years of life, Dr. Basora is #1 on the list. She listens intently, explains issues clearly, takes the time to answer questions, follows up quickly in the portal, and very supportive in my struggle with [ ], more so than any doctor has ever been. She gave me the tools to finally combat it and make a significant change in my health. Plus she persisted with insurance hassles with my [ ]. I can’t thank her enough.

This practice goes above-and-beyond to help patients navigate specialists and truly embodies a “patient-centered medical home”. Dr. Olson-Basura is a gem; she is a fantastical and knowledgable physician with the best bedside manner I have ever experienced in primary care. I am grateful Lee Health has this practice and Dr. Olson-Basura. It epitomizes the best of Lee Health.

Dr. Basora was friendly, understanding, and a good listener. She took the time needed for my exam and to answer my questions. As promised, she called the next day to review my X-ray results. I am very glad that I will have her as my doctor.

Dawn, the other young lady at the front desk whose name I didn’t catch, Melissa and Dr. Olson-Basora were all very friendly, kind, professional and knowledgable. I really love the small office, personal attention and small town vibe of the Sanibel office. I’m very happy that Dr. Olson-Basora decided to take the job at this office

Dr. Basora is an excellent listener. She spends the time needed to explain conditions and medications as well as hearing concerns. Her explanations are always easy to understand and she does not shy away from complex medical conditions. She always seems interested in learning more about the medical conditions presented.

Dr Basora addressed my medical concerns professionally within this new patient visit. She recorded my medical history on mychart, which will be helpful in the future if I have to visit other Dr's in the future. I hope to continue with her as my primary care physician.

I have switched providers in hope of having my dr appt and [ ] provided on the island. My previous provider had moved off island and [ ] in a separate location. In addition I have been having difficulty getting a same day or next day appointment. Dr Basora was friendly, compassionate, understanding of my medical issues and together we set a plan in place to address every medical issue I have ( of which there are many). She helped me get a [ ] scheduled sooner than the one from my previous employer.

Dr. Basora is the most skilled and gifted physician encountered in my life. (I was born with Streeter's Syndrome, grew up in a hospital, and grew up to be a faculty member at GWU medical school and Dean of the School of Public Health). After our first visit the entire family signed on with her as their primary care provider (In-laws and wife). They too report she provides the best treatment they have ever received. The desk and nursing team are equally wonderful and are caring and patient with all.

I had a significant health scare last [ ], and was able to get right in to see Dr. Basora. She immediately took my concerns seriously, conducted a thorough exam and scheduled the tests in the office (and outpatient) to rule out any life-threatening conditions. Her knowledge, exceptional medical care and compassion during my visit was a great source of reassurance. I felt safe, and cared for!! The following day she called to check on me and relate the [ ] findings. Dr. Basora was able to to communicate complex medical information in an understandable way and she took the extra steps to ensure my health and safety while i was under her care. She is remarkable and absolutely the BEST doctor that we have ever had on Sanibel Island.

I wanted to establish a primary physician on SANIBEL. I found a Lee healthcare system facility on island and was able to get an appointment very quickly. The intake procedure was very thorough and I was soon in an examination room, providing background information to a staff person. Dr. Basora enter the examining room and introduced herself. Dr. Basora was very easy to talk to and to communicate my concerns about my health. She rapidly assessed the issues I expressed. I felt she listened to all of my concerns and addressed each one of them. In my opinion, her depth of medical knowledge and her manner of conveying that knowledge was top-notch. I am very happy with my experience at the Lee healthcare facility on Island and especially Dr. Basora.

I felt like I knew the whole team for years even though it was my first visit. Dr Basora had reviewed my medical history in detail before I even visited her. Overall a very good experience. Dr. Olson Basora is very pleasant and seems to be very knowledgeable. She listens carefully and acts accordingly. The inter-office operations seem to work great, partly because it is a small office. Which I value a lot.
