This was my first visit with Dr. Alfaro since Dr. Lau who was my doctor was on maternity leave. Dr. Alfaro was very pleasant and I felt very comfortable with him. He was thorough when doing my eye exam. He also explained his findings in my exam and also answered all my questions. There was no rushing and he took his time. He was awesome.

The office is very well organized and efficient. All the staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Alfaro is amazing. He explains everything, is very thorough and has a very pleasant demeanor. He is also very calm. Having something wrong with your eyes is very stressful. He is so calm and patient, I immediately felt relaxed

Dr. Alfaro is what everyone hopes for in a doctor. He is very tuned in to his patient and how they are feeling with the procedure that he is performing. I am 85 years old and have found Dr. Alfaro very patient and his interaction with his patients is wonderful. Thank you Dr. Alfaro.

I'm a long-time patient of NJ Retina and Dr. Shah. He is really terrific. He's been managing my diabetic retinopathy for several years. He is excellent technically and has an excellent "bed side manner."
