I had my yearly visit/eye checkup with Dr. Fine. He was very thorough addressed my concerns, taking time to explain my issues with the retina, which was improving. The office staff is wonderful and efficient, as well as Crystal, in particular, who administered my vision tests. She was very patient and caring.
I would highly recommend Dr. Fine and the NJ Retina Group to anyone looking for a very caring

I was seen by the first woman who did the eye tests, glaucoma test and verified information. She was pleasant, courteous, and very patient with me in getting the eye pressures. The next woman I saw took pictures. Again, very patient and courteous. After sitting for a bit in order for the eye drops to take effect, I was seen very promptly by Dr. Fine. My exam was very easy. He was pleasant, courteous, professional and told me of his findings, and answered my questions. I have great confidence in him and the staff at the Retina Center.

Dr. Fine is a highly skilled practitioner who has been instrumental in saving my vision. After every visit he contacts every physician who is part of my eye-care and keeps them in the loop. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs retina care.

Dr. Howard Fine is an excellent ophthalmologist and a Retina specialist. He is an expert. He is not only excels in his profession as a retina specialist, but he is a humanist and provide free voluntary services overseas. He has exceptional bedside manners. He checks his patients very thoroughly with lot of patience and provide feed back to the patient about the condition and suggests appropriate treatment options.
Inhave been going to him for my yearly retina checkup for over ten years. He also co-ordinate his treatment efforts with patients’ primary care physician and other doctors like cataract specialists and any medical professionals of patient’s relatives.

Excellent visit and exam. Dr. Fine provides excellent medical care and advice. He is a very good listener, thoroughly reviews and explains everything to me and has provided great treatment and follow up actions. The entire nursing staff is very communicative, helpful and overall I am very relaxed and confident with Dr. Fine and his staff.

Dr. Fine has been providing excellent eye care for myself and my wife. I have been receiving eye injections from him for years and he has preserved my vision. He recently performed eye surgery on my wife with an excellent outcome. I highly recommend him.

I was scared to death to get my eyes dilated. The initial technician made me feel so comfortable and explained in detail how I would feel, react, and what exactly she was going to do, it was spot on. Dr. Fine also explained to me the procedure and made me feel at ease. Fortunately, I only had to get 1 eye dilated, which made it even easier. I'm going back to get the other eye done in 1 month. I've never in my life had an eye exam like that. So very thorough. My heart didn't beat out of my chest when I was done. Thank you to the entire staff for making me feel so comfortable.

My experience this time was very good. I was in and out of the office in 1 hr. The staff did a great job and Dr. Fine was very careful with injection. I did not feel a thing.

I was very happy with the service I received from the time I entered the office. Everyone explained what they were doing and they did exactly as they said. Doctor Fine explained what I had, how he was going to treat it, and started me on a treatment program. Doctor Fine is an excellent Doctor and I am grateful that I am a patient of his. This is a first class practice.

Dr. Fine treated my torn retina 7 years ago, and I came in for a checkup. As usual, he performed probably the best and most thorough exam I've ever had. Everything was great and I don't have to see him again for a year. I am relieved, and confident that my eyes will be ok for another year. I'm very happy with the care from Dr. Fine and NJRETINA.
