That they are wonderful folks and friendly but they're busy and they may only focus on or prescribe what's routine to them. They don't have a lot of time to imagine other avenues of hope and healing.

She was very late for my last appointment. Also, they called me up last minute to reschedule my procedure appointment with hardly any notice and I had rearrange everything with my wife's schedule.

Great front office staff. The nurses and nicole project a sense of: being in a hurry, being pre-programmed and patients are supposed to know what the office process is despite being a new patient, not believing you are in pain and not liking their job. I’ve had physical exams since 2009 with other doctors and none have been as abrupt, or inflicted pain that triggered spasms. It was glossed over as ‘sometimes it happens with physical exam’. That is true when they are handled so abruptly-as I found out. As patient, past doctors exams moved at a pace that allowed for feedback when something was starting to hurt to avert harm. The sense is that the health system has required that the practice see X# of people/day and the patients are now widgets on a production line and are to be pushed through the process and time spent is to be limited. No effort to explain recommendations for next steps as it relates to test results. Worst experience with medical professionals in 16 years.

Nicole is lovely. Took time to review my history prior to visit. Recalled discussion items from prior visit. Explained next steps and possible steps after that. We split our time between MI and [State] and she was sensitive to how we might address a treatment plan that would work around that issue.

Nicole Schelb and her staff members are very knowledgeable. You will leave an appointment with a plan for moving forward to address your pain. Sometimes the test or procedure will be scheduled several weeks in the future. However, you can call the office to see if a cancellation has occurred and you can be scheduled sooner.

Nicole is compassionate and explains everything that she feels will help with my condition. She follows through with everything she says she is going to do. She makes me feel important and listens to everything I say and takes that in consideration when she makes a plan to help me.

Nicole is very compassionate. I appreciate everything she does for me. She understands when I’m frustrated with my condition and does everything she can to help me out. She takes the time to explain everything to me so I can understand why she orders procedures. Then she follows through with everything we have discussed. I love that about her.
